Costco just brought in a brand new Pressure Washer Kit from Greenworks. At $239 (and going on sale on March 5th for $179) this kit includes a Greenworks 2000psi Pressure Washer, 25ft Uberflex hose, a foam cannon, and a 12" surface cleaner. In todays video I will be testing the actual performance of this kit to see how it stacks up to the competition. I will also compare the pricing of each of the items in the kit to see if this deal is as good as it seems... ENJOY!!!

Josh I would love to see more amperage readings when they come with different sized orifices or if you use different orifice sizes in your testing. They might come under 15A with one orifice but when you switch to another, it might exceed that. This would be nice info for us stuck on 15A breaker. Love the reviews, thank you!

Thanks for review Josh. I bought this from Costco last year and it’s been a good unit so far. Couple questions though. 1. I bought a ridge washer short handle gun for it and the unit will cycle on about every 15 seconds. When the factory wand is on it doesn’t do this. Any idea what would cause this? 2. I’ve been thinking about after market Nossles. Does it create a different water pattern than factory? Your machine seems to have a nice wide even distribution and I feel like mine from this Greenworks unit isn’t as efficient. Thanks again

Thanks Josh! FYI the Costco Online model and package for $180 was slightly different. White soap tank and came with 50ft flex hose (instead of 25ft) and QC’s and 5-in-1 nozzle (instead of foam cannon and surface cleaner) Considering I was looking to buy a new 50ft hose and qc’s for my gas pressure washer anyway, I took a chance on this as those two items are about $80 value For the $100 “net” for the unit, IMO it’s not bad but I’d prefer more flow especially since I’m used to a semi-commercial gas unit (I use a large 6.0 nozzle to drop it to car-safe psi). I could tell a noticeable difference in flow when trying to rinse the foam off the car As such, personally im thinking of getting the active ve52 or 2.0 instead, but can’t really go wrong with anything Costco. Still a great deal overall !

For weekend warriors with a driveway I think be 25ft Uberflex is perfect. I have both the 50ft and 25ft and find the 50 to be excessive in the driveway. 25 is the sweet spot for myself.

I also am wondering your thoughts on the green works washer that has the 50 foot uberflex hose and quick connects and special 5 in 1 nozzle that is on sale on the 5th online on Costco as that 50 ft hose would be sweet and then get the other foam cannon that you recommend and buy a floor cleaner separate. I've been watching your pressure washer videos for the past week since I'm looking at picking one up for my home. I think the Ryobi 2300psi is the right fit for me but wanted to run my situation by you and see what you thought. It will primarily be used for weekly car cleaning, but I do want to get something I can use for the occasional house or driveway wash as needed. All personal use. I was considering the DeWalt 2400 as well but online reviews prefer the Ryobi. I thought about the active 2.0 but I don't know if that would be able to tackle the occasional house projects. Absolutely right Mr Josh as always because is a pain in the butt that brush kit from Costco I bought one for my cars and it scratch very bad my wife car ,it was my fault because of my lack of knowledge and not paying attention in to how hard and roughly the brush is ,and not only is low quality of the brush the problem with that to is that you hit your cars very bad with the plastic edges, from now on like yesterday I used it to wash my Jeep hard top only.Hey Mr Josh one question I bought yesterday at Home Depot the Ryobi 1800 psi pressure washer for an auto detailing business I am planing to invest with a friend of mine,the question is how many cars can he wash at a day with the 1800 psi ryobi machine ?Thanks an advance for your answer.

I usually have troubles with the Greenworks pressure washer tripping the breaker on the unit itself. You are not supposed to use the unit with an extension cord if that makes any difference to buyers.

JOSH, per your recommendation, I bought the 2300 Greenworks last summer during the cyber sale. The 2300 has a brushless motor with a 10 yr. warranty. This unit will clean concrete, decks & houses, a multi-use tool. Plus it is NOT made in China! Thanks for all your testing.

Interesting. I live on the east coast and my Costco flyer lists a greenworks 2000 psi/1.2 gpm pressure similar but slightly different than yours for $179 starting March 5. The bonus kit includes a 5-in-1 nozzle and a 7-piece quick connect kit. It also comes with a 50 ft section of the same hose.

You do not want more than 2500psi for the home. Any higher you can etch concrete your siding. My neighbor has a professional power, and he blew the paint off his truck. And just about etch his 12000.00 dollar deck, so watch out. I have a separated 15 gallons water heater in my garage set on medium temp and I hook my pressure washer to it. I own an expense car and was told to use warm water to wash it then cool to rinse it off.
