For the series I made and the character roster, I wish I can make leitmotifs for them too as well as artwork for the cast. If I could, I would definitely try to do this too if I had the talent, skill, and equipment. Chances are that this is likely going to be an extremely stupid question because "derr, stupid OCs, look at my OC, derp derp" ("Kill. Me." "I SAID KILL ME, DAMMIT!"), but what would your OC's leitmotif be like and what would the character him/herself be like for the theme to fit with the character?

@@opusmagnus26 Depends on the OC I suppose. My main one would probably have a similar feel to this theme. But when things get serious it would probably be more of a dark choir maybe. He's an edgy boy in appearance so people judge him by what he is rather than who he is. So he's a joker who likes to use his lineage to mess with others. But other peoples view of him has affected his view of himself. So he can give into those darker impulses when the moment strikes him.

For a couple of the various characters I made, I've got a few ideas in mind for leitmotifs: Gorgachidna and Terakai- their leitmotifs would evoke giant monster movies of old and new and emphasis their embrace to what they are: monsters, not unlike the King of Terror himself. Since my idea for his design in monster form is basically a mashing of Triple Alpha Hydranoid, King Ghidorah, and Hydreigon, I imagine ominous choir, pipe organs, and drums while the idle version of his version of the theme (I got this from KI 2013 if you were going to ask) could probably have King Ghidorah's them from KOTM or something, I'm not sure for that last part. For Gorgachidna, I've got nothing on what her version of their shared motif would be like. Xen and Metria: sci-fi horror and dark electric rock with bits of classic alien movies with a dash or two of cosmic horror vibes in reference to their coming from another dimension and the more Lovecraftian side of the Cryptxeniankaildritch race. Xen's half would come with a slight reference to the Alien franchise (he practically is supposed to be a Lovecraftian Xenomorph) or two with some Invader ZIM-inspired parts of the song with the credits theme from the show playing if all the characters are idle (for a video game context) or for certain scenes with him (in a cartoon/film context, I don't know (*FACEPALM!*). Metria's half would include parts that wouldn't be out of place in any Metroid game, outside of that I don't know how else it might sound like (I'm not that exactly knowledgeable in music). There may be plenty more where those came from as I think I've got plenty more ideas.

Whereas My other main OC Maria would have more of a high society English vibe with some whimsical adventure time themes mixed in

For Mar and Charlie, I've got loads more ideas for leitmotifs for them besides an overworld and a battle theme. Mirionne and Nyctos: with inspiration and basis residing in Person and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Persona 5 and JJBA: Vento Aureo specifically), their themes would sound like they would belong in their proper series while loosely sounding like they should be in a crossover game or movie or something. Nyctos' leitmotif could include eerie violins and organs evocative of DIO (which the alternate personality is based off of) with a bit of guitar thrown in. I imagine it being a sort of motif for a fledgling mafia boy who is far from alike his fellows as is his "Stand" Deimos, Nightmare. His battle theme could be rock and jazz mixed together a bit like Vento D'lloro and could maybe even have a bit of that song play when the fighters are idle. Mirionne's meanwhile could start out sounding mysterious and mournful in reference to her life having been much more hellish than Joker's/Ren's before leaving that section for a tone of peculiarity for how strange she seems to be and that her "Persona" NyxNox, Noctriarc, may be more than meets the eyes and she's far from your standard Phantom Thief. Her battle theme could be mainly jazz-like akin to the Bayonetta games (Bayonetta being Mary's core inspiration and all) with some Persona 5 feel to it into the mix. When idle, you can hear bits of "Last Surprise" in the song while you hear Mirionne singing the lyrics softly or humming it. For the finisher/beatdown themes for them both, they might be similar yet different from what I've just described above with a bit of their own kill motif (think Castlevania (for Charlie) and Bayonetta (for Mary) meets the many iterations of Mortal Kombat's fatality motif and Danganronpa's execution theme.).
