I will provide a brief history on what Bedard is. Before Bedard, there were other Patriot beat writers on the Felger show. Felger wants everyone to be negative and attack, but the previous beat writers wanted to be more truthful so they wouldn't play along. So then Felger and Mazz and crew would act like junior high kids and make fun of the beat writer. Those beat writers got tired of the crap and stopped going on the show. Bedard is basically the little toadie that plays along with the game so he can be on the show. He has nothing else, no integrity to worry about, so he does what he can do to try to make a living. It's pathetic, it's disgraceful, but when you have little talent you have little choice. That's Greg Bedard

I've been listening to F&M almost every day for about 15 years, I didn't turn them on today because I knew what was coming. This whole negativity thing works when your teams are playing well, but I feel like I reached my limit on having every ounce of optimism sucked out of me. Also, Greg thought Josh Allen was awful for about 3 years. Don't take his analysis of Drake too seriously, historically he does not like this type of QB.

Jordan love’s first few games as an NFL QB was horrendous until he started hitting stride suddenly at last years play offs , this kid comes in with a below average O Line , below average WR’s , settles in after a few bad plays throws 3 TD and 2 INT , give Giants Drake Maye and they would give him a long term contract right now , these guys are clowns .

The defense is missing 3 starters, (baramore, bentley and peppers) plus all of the injuries that have piled up. On offense the line has been hurt every week and arguably our best lineman andrews is out for the year. They act like this team was loaded with talent when bill left. Then they blame the gm for his signings, um noone wanted to come play here! Aiyuk made that clear when we offered him whatever he wanted but still passed on us. Jesus Christ they are miserable to listen to some days.

This show has never had integrity. Felger started his "hot takes" on Ordway's show when he was Mr. Irrelevant. That show had great guests and Felger never had anything to say. He wasn't able to talk among the heavyweights. When Boston sports media started dying because all the ad money was moving to the internet, Felger was left with his own show in an empty landscape. There is no Boston sports radio anymore, WEEI died long ago. Felger has the playing field all to himself and he gets to act like the bully he has always wanted to be. It's a strange psychology and Felgie must make a few bucks from it, but it has no relevancy anymore. Felger took control once the world had moved on to something better.

Maye is a generational talent at QB. The fact the football gods have blessed with another all time great at QB at 22 years old is mind boggling and im so happy. That being said, we dint need to be playing Maye anymore this year. We need to tank, get an elite top 5 pick in next years draft as well as other draft pick, draft a generational talent at WR and then get O Line help. We need to invest in Maye and not waste his time playing in a sesson we actually need to lose in, as well as not risking him getting injured for nothing. This is season was always meant to be a bridge to the future. Felger, Mazz an co are such cynical contrarians. They are always negative, especially when they are flat out wrong with their takes. I like Maye, but I'm not sure Mayo's approach is the best. There is no reason to try to hype up the players as much as Mayo does. He's constantly talking about how great this player is and that player is. In general, that usually leads to overconfidence and guys not working harder to get better. If you dispute that then you are delusional. I don't care if a player is good, he should be reminded that he needs to work to be better. Belichick, Parcells, those guys understood that. Mayo is too much of a cheerleader. And he should know that if that leads to too many losses, he will be out of a job and very unlikely any team will ever offer him a head coaching job ever again. He gets one chance.
