I think he was right, too. The show takes for granted that it was somehow sneaky of Greg to argue that point, but I've always agreed with him on this - and I'm usually one to back adults over kids. Mike and Carol have full authority to ground him from diving their vehicles, but he's still a licensed driver and has every right to drive other vehicles if he can access them. This is like a store banning a customer, then getting mad that he was still able to do business at another establishment.

@@michaelvaladez3012 Ok, I should've said most kids respected their parents. But when parents aren't what they should be it's hard to respect them. My parents said and did things that lessened our respect for them, my mother especially. But that doesn't mean I didn't obey as much as I could and accept punishments. Sometimes the punishments were unfair. The stories I could tell. My husband's mother left home at 16 but I have never been able to get the story behind that since he himself never knew. She didn't talk about it. Parents ought to be as fair as they can be and only punish when it's necessary, sometimes a good talking to can be enough. A parent can lose a kid's respect when they are not fair or when they play favorites (my mother). But in this episode I felt Mike was right to ground Greg from using the car for driving dangerously.
