To be 100% fair, Greg should've asked if his exact words thing could've started at the present moment he was making this deal. He was being held to exact words he'd spoken before all this happened. But since he didn't think of it they held him to his exact words no matter how long ago they were spoken. It's rough to have to give up the rock concert for a stupid frog jumping contest. And the money he spent on the tickets.

He usually was not this lowdown or scheming ... just girl crazy and into waxing the surfboard and sometimes writing really dreadful pop songs, LOL. I think character behavior sometimes depends on who is writing that week's script, and once in a while they'll make a character act different. Kinda stupid, really ... you'd think _someone_ at the table read, maybe Sherwood Schwartz or a producer or cast member, would chime in and say "But Greg isn't a total d!ck, like in this episode".

Remember in Season 1 or 2 where greg gets a D and he turns aroudn to walk out of Mike's office and Mike Brady smacks him hard on the rear end, even AFTER Greg says he will buckle down and study harder? Not perms. Robert Reeds hair was naturally that way. He had it straightened for the show until the Hawaii episode turned it back to its naturally curly state due to the humid air and they decided to leave it that way and Barry Williams also had naturally frizzy hair. I've heard him talk about it on his podcast. Said he tried everything including mayonnaise to tame it and once he said he even tried to iron it.

Both movies were great, very funny--- and chock full of Easter eggs and inside jokes for Brady fans, but I'm sure newbies to the world of The Bradys will love these movies as well. The films had excellent casting, costumes, set design, and background music. Oh, and fun guest stars too!

Good question. When I was growing up I had to wash the dishes for 6 people 2 or 3 times a day. My brothers didn't have to do anything but take out the trash (a 5-minute job) once every other week since there were 2 of them. How does that compare to washing the dishes 2 or 3 times a day? I'd have gladly traded with them. It was never a 5-minute job either.

The two BB episodes where Greg ends up having a lousy time at the drive-in movie are fun stuff. This one, "Greg Gets Grounded" (Exact Words and Frogs), and also "The Big Bet" one when he loses a bet with Bobby and ends up taking him on his date with Rachel. Hope Juber, daughter of show creator Sherwood Schwartz, played Rachel in both episodes, and also two other roles in different episodes of the show.

Yes. Hope was in Marcia's slumber party episode, I think, as Jenny Wilton, the girl Marcia that originally thought that set her up for the drawing that got her in trouble. She was also in the final episode when Greg's hair turned orange. BTW. Closing credits have her as Hope Sherwood.

Hang on, how did he _not_ go against the parents' wishes? First he drove recklessly with a child in the car, then got caught and punished, then he drove a friend's vehicle while grounded without car privileges and when caught he made up that whole "You just said 'you're not allowed to drive the car', you didn't say anything about other cars" b-llsh-t. Plus, buttering up Mike about the architecture plans just to try and get his way, that was lowdown and sleazy. Greg got what he deserved in this story line: an annoying wakeup call about being such a crafty and manipulative jerk. I like this episode a lot because we get to see the guy suffer after pulling that all nonsense. He learns his lesson but it isn't easy. 😆👏

If Greg had gotten into an accident with George Thompson's car and was found liable. The victim's insurance company would not only go after the Thompsons, but considering that Greg was under the age of 18, they could go after the Bradys as well. Even though George gave Greg permission to use his vehicle, his parents pay the insurance for his vehicle, and Greg is NOT AN AUTHORIZED DRIVER ON THEIR POLICY.
