Looking over the panelists, it looks like it could have had some potential. I like Reggie but I don't think he'd have the same kind of looming vibe as Greg Davies that makes for a good task master, though. Comedy Central also has a poor track record for keeping decent shows on the air, so no surprise there that it only lasted a season. I'd also imagine Alex probably didn't have time to continue putting into the show, since he was also doing the UK original.

I know right! I'm only 21 it wasn't that long ago the number 1 rule of fandom was don't mess with people's real lives. You can wright all the freaky stuff you like about, say, Loki but involving Tom Hiddleston the person is too far. Nowadays it seems like anyone in the public eye especially if they have a close working relationship with someone has fanfic about them.

@@violetskies14 Nah RPF's been around and accepted in fandom for at least 20 years (when I first discovered fan fiction was a thing). You just weren't supposed to bring it to the subjects' attention. For some reason gen-z decided to break the 4th wall when it came to fandom shit and we're mostly worse off for it 🙃🙃
