This is absolutely brilliant. My mental health has hit rock bottom lately and the videos on this channel and this video in particular made me laugh more than I thought was possible (gross stories about near alcohol poisoning have anti-depressant qualities - who'd thunk it.) (Also: Channel person, please tell Greg to have that water damage/mouldy spot on the ceiling checked. The spores can be quite unhealthy and it is notoriously difficult to remove once it spreads. We had chips before we went I smuggled a half bottle of dark rum and drank the lot and when I got back to her's chucked up out the bedroom window onto the bay roof. The next morning feeling like death looked out the window to find it covered with chips, not touched dark rum since and I'm now 56 🤮🥴

The worst hangover I ever had was after drinking a beer jug full of home-mixed Brandy Alexander. I was still lying in bed, puking black bile into an adjacent waste paper bin, at 5:00pm the following day. The worst vomiting incident was after drinking way too much Sambucca, which I got for about $10 for a litre at Rome airport. I flew back to Australia, had no sleep, and went straight to a party… I remember trying to use the toilet at the party house and it seemed to be moving around like a mechanical bull… Deciding it was time to go home, I called a taxi, got half-way home and suddenly felt very ill. I asked the driver to pull over, but despite being in a deserted suburban street, he didn’t seem to sense the urgency and took a while to come to a stop. I wrenched open the passenger-side door, but - alas - it was too late and I vomited copiously (and very neatly, under the circumstances) into the door’s map-pocket. Hardly a drop on the pavement, but the map pocket was chockers with sick. Aaaahhh, good times! 🤣🤣

I would love to know which bars they went to, HK is a special kind of place to go out on an all night bender. Shitting your pants is the touchstone of true love. One evening in the midst of a jumpscare war that my girlfriend and I were having, she was coming home from work and I heard her in the stairwell. I climbed over the flatscreen by the front door and squatted down on the far side of the entertainment center. The plan was to fart as a distraction, then pop out and get my scare points. She opened the door, and it's now remembered as "The time you shat yourself behind the television". We're on about 7 years now. I fucking love that woman, and somehow she loves me.

Was woken up one morning by my friend’s wife yelling at him while he was getting ready for work in the bathroom next to the room I was sleeping in. She was pissed that we stayed up really late getting drunk. I couldn’t fall back asleep and decided to drive the hour home. Head pounding like a funking drum, I start spewing vomit on my passenger seat and floor board. I live in country, so there were no gas stations around to stop and clean it out. Only pine trees. That was the least of the absolutely stupid things I did while drinking. A funking miracle I didn’t kill someone driving blind drunk regularly. 8 years sober. Very, very lucky.

So I was sitting here this morning eating breakfast which was, do not judge me until you hear me out, a pickle sandwich with mustard and mayo, when in my head I thought of the line that is going around. 'Tell me you' need to get groceries, 'without telling me' you need to get groceries. I thought, you know that would make a great game. Rhod Gilbert and Lee Mack would have a field day with that. Tell me without telling me. Seriously, you need to do something with this. I seriously better get groceries, my next meal looks more dire than breakfast.

The journalist, I think, isn’t referring to drinking water shortly before bed on a drinking night. The journalist is referring to drinking water in the morning to shorten or prevent a hangover already in progress. Once you wake up with a hangover, they are contending the water helps with current dehydration, but that the hangover process still must complete in the liver... and nothing will hasten that rate. Dunno what’s real. An article without medical blind studies and control groups and such is just a bunch of opinions presented as facts.
