Greg and Jan I would like to thank you. I attended the beginner grazing school last weekend and I learned a lot. Abram did a very good job and I enjoyed his presentation on sheep. God bless and keep up the good work.

Not only are they dumping chemicals to clear the pond weeds, they are pouring nitrogen fertilizer on their lawns that washes into the ponds increasing the pond weed and algae. I canoed a river when my kids were in boyscouts and it was easy to see fertilizer run off from housing developments in the river. More acres of lawn grass are under cultivation in the US than food, and with higher chemical inputs!

I went out there to get my brush hog. Beautiful country. I like Addison county vt a lot too. I figure if I can’t find a way to someday buy a farm in the hill towns and quit getting shoved place to place that’s my destination.

You said you went to Arizona. Did you visit the grazing experiment of the land to reduce erosion runoff into the river which is also a showing the growth benifit to rotational grazing? How is it going? Do you have an update?

Question for you. Our sheep are starting to bag u quickly now. Do you give them bigger area when they start to have lambs with a flerd? Our area is a lot smaller than yours since we have small flerd of animals. I would to keep them together for one reason now. The rain had slowed way down. Thanks for the video! It’s looking beautiful there. It looks fun fishing. It’s been a little dry here lately, and no rain the next couple weeks too. I’m so glad you got rain though. Our grass is looking good. Some of the grass is probably shoulder high on you where others is hip high. I’m building fence as we are moving the animals. I’m a couple days ahead of animals building fence, but I need to get myself in high gear though.

When they start lambing, just keep a wire in front of them and give them a new grass break each day. Let the new mothers stay back by not putting in a back fence. They will rejoin the flock pretty quickly on their own.

Boy, it doesn't take anything for a few head of cattle to chew up some landscape, especially when wet. Even 20 head can tear some serious stuff up quickly. Big powerful animals. Bass are looking good.

If you have your playback settings in at least 720 dpi you can see the bass when he zooms in. If its in 1080, you can see the fish giving Mr Judy the aul stinkeye...
