Came for the sweep, stayed for the super cool diminished chord blues scale. I'm definitely adding that to my stew.

Gregory , after watching regularly your videos since the March madness started, I can't decide wether your playing is more juicy or your humor is more succulent. Might be an idea to have some videos ala " The flight of the Concords" essentially telling a joke through a song. Keep killing it.

Mr Koch is obviously the best noodler on earth, a truly stellar guitar player, but does anybody acknowledge that his hilarious personality is equal to his guitar playing? I vote him best male guitar player personality ever, and what every guitar player/faker wishes his personality was like.

Just trying those licks out on my Taylor, using the 3rd finger? I have to use my pinky, my hands are smaller I think! Tricky riffs Greg, you are fiendish man

i 'll take this with me, thank you very much! I notice that when you play chords, your left hand technique 'cleans up.' (looks altogether proper.) but you revert to a 'shovel handle' grip when you play lines....

Hi Greg....I was wondering what model 335 that is. I have one and love it but the neck is a little on the smaller side and I imagine that one is not.

This is a ‘82 Dot neck reissue...the neck isn’t too big...a nice C shape neck
@2skyland4 жыл бұрын
@@GregKochMusic Thanks so much! I'm liking bigger necks these days but my 64 (I think, the one with the blocks) reissue sounds so good I don't want to let it go. lol Thanks again...hope you can make it out to Nashville when all of this madness clears up.

These little nuances and inflexions are so difficult to do especially as clean as Greg. I guess that’s why he is teaching and we are watching.

Pretty cool! Thanks for showing us that.... I have a question though. Most everyone making youtube vids say " It you like this vid... subscribe, share, and like".... Well, what if you didn't like it? Other than the down note button, what else can be done? ;-P I want to make another joke, but it is much more risque'. haha....

G13, don't steal my licks! Hahaha
@KiraPlaysGuitar Жыл бұрын
What a fucking innovator. Even if it's stolen. Edit: I say innovator because it has that Charlie Parker/bebop horn triplet/slur sound down really nicely, but in a modern blues context, haven't heard it exactly like this. It's only obnoxious if you play it obnoxiously hahahaha, love ya Greg, I owe you way more of my time.

. I've been asking the Gristlemaster for a leg up to help me help all of us deter the theft of our guitars and amps but so far he only sticks his foot out. Ironic how some people forget how it was when they reached out to others when they first started out ainna? If I started getting a leg up the link to a demo is what people would see on their cell phone if they tried to sell the guitar or amp they stold from you. And what would your reported stolen gear be worth then? Would you be buying a fake brand? A stolen guitar? A stolen amp? tapabilities.com/demos/auth/index.html
