I was a 14 year old skeptic, that I wouldn't believe it unless you prove it. My conversion had me in High School challenging the facts including Darwinism and God gave me the perfect tools 📖👈"The Word of God." I remember that night I excited the LORD, getting the great advice by Pastor Greg Laurie. Read the Book of John, verse by verse and chapter by chapter daily systemically getting to know your faith. I was committed to the Word of God and God's calling in my life. It wasn't perfect but I fought the good fight for the finish line. I'm not walking 🚶to the finish line 🏃🏻‍♂️....... I'm running the race like a Marathon and taking anybody with me. We need to really get serious 🛐 because eternal life is real. Heaven is real, and those that are believers will grab the fruit before it spoil. If any man be in Christ he is a new creature, live in the New "YOU! I just love this. I was about 11 when the Jesus Revolution was born. As I was moving into adolescence, the movement made a huge impact on me, even though I was already a Christian and active in my church. It was thrilling to see teenagers and young adults unashamedly and joyfully proclaim Christ. I thank God I was alive at this time. His timing is perfect.

I and my husband, then boyfriend, were also saved during the Jesus movement. It was so life changing and awesome that we are still walking and growing in the Lord and love Him more and more everyday! My prayer for years has been that my kids and now grandkids would also have this amazing experience with God. Romans 7 is Paul pointing out that the "Old man" the flesh that still remains alive AFTER the New Birth is N E V E R going to stop sinning. In 1st John, the only way it makes sense is if you realize that he is talking to, and about BOTH natures. "Whosoever is Born of God does NOT sin..." THAT is the New Creature mentioned all through the New Testament. 1 Cor 5. (The whole chapter) May God open your eyes and your heart to HIS Truth. "Religion" binds us to the belief that we must be perfect, Jesus said in Matthew 5:48, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect". I tried to live up to that until it nearly drove me insane! He KNOWS we can't live up to that. He said it because WE need to KNOW that we can't. IF we Could, then He would NEVER have died on the cross! "The TRUTH will set you FREE!"

The American evangelical church certainly needs it!! Starting from the top elites. With over 80% of them embracing such an antithesis of Jesus and His teachings, they are the pharisees of today...seeking political power instead of seeking to help the poor and disparaging those who they don't understand, turning their back(and compassion) on the immigrants...they sold their souls for 30 pieces of silver for political power....so so many have left the church because of the blatant hypocrisy they/we all see...they need to confess and repent and ask forgiveness from Jesus AND the world...(as we ALL need to do!) When they DO that? We will see a work of the Holy Spirit and revival....the world will know by the change of heart... compassion and empathy will be a shining light and Jesus will be recognized in that good light again.

In 1977 my uncle, who was an alcoholic, was saved by pastor Chuck Smith and Calvary chapel. He witnessed to me on several occasions. It was surreal. I knew him as a man who hung out at bars, drank, smoked, played pool, chased women, etc. His witness to me awakened a desire to take my faith seriously and to seek relationship with Jesus. Chuck Smith is the real deal.

In 1977 my husband and I attended a small church in Utah that was going through a Jesus revolution. We had a young pastor who was bringing many young adults to Christ. The older elders in the church became intimidated by all the young people and they fired the pastor and the church split apart. The young people left and many others left with them. If only they had embraced the movement like Calvary Chapel. Who knows how many people the could have led to the Lord. The church remained but never grew. 46 years later it struggles to this day. The experience nearly took me away from the Lord, but praise God he is faithful and brought me back! Praise God for the Jesus Revolution! I hope there is another one soon!

No, not everyone is welcome in the church. People who follow Jesus should be in the church. Sin in the church is to be faced and dealt with. "I wrote you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people. I was not including the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat. What business of mine is it to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked man from among you.” I Corinthians 5: 9-13

The Corinthian church was struggling still with idol worship. Instead of bringing people to the faith they were joining the fray. They were not yet grounded in the faith. The immature in the faith obviously cannot associate with those in need of deliverance. You know Mary Magdalene was delivered from seven demons. JESUS loved her, one of his most devoted followers. Truth without love is not pure truth. I suggest you read some of the scriptures lve just quoted. Jesus said" I am the light of the world, those who walk with me will not walk in darkness, but in the light of life. Truth without love is not pure truth. For God so loved the WORLD that he gave HIS one and only son, that whoever believes on HIM will not perish, but have ever lasting life. Amen God bless you Let's get the world saved

The prayers of many of us who were saved at that time are being answered right now as God is pouring out His spirit on this new generation of young people. Many of us, now in our 70's, have seen our own grown children (my kids are in their early 40's) walk away from the Lord after once being such faithful believers. We are heart broken. We are begging God to bring them back to Him before it is too late.

She is now dating a man whose family is saved. They go every week to church with his sister`s family who they spend every sunday with. I pray for both of them now. I went to Catholic school at the time and things within the Catholic church were really changing, too. Without Jesus we would never know the fulness of God. Jesus is the key to the universe for “all things have been created through him” So I’m waiting on Jesus. He gives me strength. As a single mother things aren’t isn’t easy on me. I’m overwhelmed at times because both of my children are autistic. I’m desperately struggling trying to support them and myself because like so many others. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. But God continues to help me. I get harassed and called names for simply asking for prayers, but prayers are all we need to get by, and when you’re a real christian people will always crucify you. Thankfully, God gives me strength to keep going. I have faith God will provide. He HAS THIS FAR. Please pray for me and my children.

I was told I could not have a kidney transplant with out the shot. I prayed for days. God gave me the green light. That has been over a year ago, with no ill effects. I did get the C, but no need for hospitalization etc. I am definitely not a warrior for the shot, but pray about it. It may be a pre-cursor of the Mark, but it is not the mark of the beast. Let the Lord, not fear guide you either way.

I am so excited to see the movie, Jesus Revolution documented. I was a teenager in San Diego at that time and was greatly influenced by this incredible revival. Though raised in a Christian home, my heart was lukewarm. While at a winter retreat several young hippie/surfer types shared their testimony of conversion. God had my attention and I fully committed my life to the Lord. My youth pastor, Pastor Von had a great influence on my life as he led many to Christ and the numbers grew to hundreds gathering every week to hear him speak. God was at work! I am still loving and serving the Lord at age 70 and it all began during the Jesus Revolution! GOD is still working in hearts today! Hallelujah!

Learned thar the 7# book on the coffee table was for more than decor. Even more important, I surrend see red myself to Jesus. Amkeeping up with Bible-based churches in Bloomingdale,IL, Cape Coral, FL and Peoria, AZ. 3 distint messages and worships each week and reading The Old Testament slowly - the New Testament is so phenomenal. I have watched all 24 episodes of The Chosen and any other programs helping to explain what I'm not seeing as the Old reflected in the new. I'm excited about Jesus's return 🤗

Just saw the movie “Jesus Revolution”, wow!!! Very touching!!! Loved it!!! Searching for truth in drugs, not finding it, but indeed finding the True Truth in Jesus Christ, Hallelujah!!! Truth, Truth, Truth; then why is Greg Laurie teaching that a futuristic view of Revelation is truth, it’s not. darby invented the false futuristic view of Revelation in 1830. schofield made it super popular in 1900 with his famous study bible. Chuck Smith (I love him like crazy), hal lindsey, and lahaye etc. made it 90% dominant in today’s church. Revelation 1-19 is over. Revelation 19 and Matthew 24 speak of 70AD. Jesus Christ wasn’t lying when He warned that generation that they would not die until Jerusalem was destroyed. How did we get duped??? Part of the problem is the translation of the Greek word ge. Ge means soil, land, ground or earth, not global earth. So when we read that 1/4 or 1/3 of the earth is destroyed in the Book of Revelation, it is not global earth, it’s the land of Israel. Which culminated in 70AD, to “not one stone will be left upon another”. Please take this simple Revelation test. Read the first 3 Verses of Revelation and tell me when the Book of Revelation was to take place. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, everything that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near. Is the answer A. Over 2022 years in the future Or B. “the things that must soon take place” and “for the time is near” The correct view of Revelation is called partial preterism. We are in the first part of Revelation 20. The rest of 20, with 21 and 22 are in the future. The Old Testament saints are already in Heaven with their Resurrected Bodies reigning with Jesus Christ right now. Please read Hebrews 12:22-24 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel. The above Scripture is everyone in Heaven right now. Notice the Firstborn are already there. Yes, Jesus Christ set the Bosom of Abraham captives free (Luke 16, Ephesians 4) Jesus Christ spent 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth preaching the Gospel Message (Matthew 12:40). The First Resurrection already happened. Reference Matthew 27:52-54 and Ezekiel 37. Ezekiel’s Temple is literally in Heaven right now. The Ark of the Covenant is there right now, reference Revelation 11:19. When Heaven does eventually come down to earth in Revelation 21, there is no longer a Temple, reference Revelation 21:22. Please look up my channel, Keith Elrod and the channel of Bruce Gore. This present popular futuristic aka dispensationalist view of Revelation is actually racist. It teaches that God still has a favored chosen race of people in the Jews. This is not true. The soul purpose of the Hebrews was to bring in the Savior of all humans. The Jews/Hebrews were chosen for this. The choseness of the Hebrews started at Abraham and ended at Jesus Christ. There is no favored chosen race, there is no Master race of God. A true Jew, per Romans 2:28,29 is someone with a circumcised heart. Greg Laurie searched for truth in the late 60’s and found it in Jesus Christ. Greg Laurie please search for Truth in regards to the Book of Revelation.

My wife and I were saved through a ministry in Cleveland Ohio called the Gospel House. Pastor Bob Sepkovich was led to reach out to that generation. It was called the Gospel House because there was no church, just a rented house where young people, excited about Jesus came to study the Bible. Bob rented a Church of Nazarene on Thursday nights where he held what was called "The Rap". Bob spoke often on biblical prophecy and the church was overflowing with people coming to Christ, so much so they had to open the sanctuary doors to allow more people to hear the message. I was saved at one of those Thursday night "Raps" and was not expecting it that night but God had other plans! Praise Jesus!

I viewed TheJesus Revolution today! The best film I here viewed in a very long time. America needs another Jesus revolution! We went for the first showing and it was nearly full! Many were old hippies my Mama’s age! She was born in 40 and I in 60! I was saved by the Good news club at 10, Mrs. H was my teacher in Good News Club. Mrs H is one of my heroes! ❤

Bsss player .(Sweet Comfort band ).kevin.Thompson approached me to join a Christian rock Band with his brother Rick a drummer and 3 others.I sat on the lawn of my Highschool witnessing and playing my flute .I joined the Fish club in my high school they were Christians..it was so strange to hear words like Praise the Lord !My parents let me live in 5 communes including Mansion Messiah in Costa Mesa ,and meeting Chuck his preaching and Lonnie would preach and love Song sang under the tent where we would gather . The love was incredible! It launched my music career. I've got free Tickets sent by Harvest and I can't wait to see part of my life as a kid who was searching like so many others💜

I lived in Westminster as a little girl and a new neighbor took my brother and I to Calvary Chapel in the original little church in Costa Mesa. I think it was on Sunflower street. The hippies would come in dirty with no shoes and sit on the floor at Chuck Smith’s feet. I remember either sitting in pews I think. Anyway, I remembered ask8ng my mom how come I had to wear a dress and be dressed up for church. My mom had grown up in the Baptist church and said, I don’t care what others do, but we dress up for church. Eventually, Calvary outgrew that little building and built their current building. Church was in a big, huge white circus tent dirt (a former bean field) on the ground, a center platform, and Jesus music each Sunday while the new building was built. Our family eventually left and started attending a Baptist church near a home. As a high schooler in the late 70’s on Saturday night, you could go to a free concert at Calvary with all the local Christian bands playing each week. I went often and the Gospel was always shared at the end.

God can use anyone and anything to further His glory and knowing that should make us rely on Him more. This movie was a learning experience in and of itself and was very enjoyable. I watched it w/my mother. I’m not 100% on whether she is truly walking w/the Lord or not but I hope that this movie served as an encouragement to her and for many others and that many can be saved and ask questions because of this movie because Christ is mighty and can use even movies to move people.

Read up on lonnie frisbee… There may still be some videos on KZbin available. Lonnie Frisbee thought he was a Christian, but the whole time he was using drugs sleeping with men even while he was with Chuck Smith’s church Chuck Smith just used him to get people to come to his church, and that did happen everybody wanted to see lonnie frisbee, the poor guy died in hospice and I don’t even know if he shared Jesus with him or if he ever repented🙏🏻

I have so much to say. Lonnie was a close family friend and often used to stay with us and i was the most unlikely type to ever even try drugs. Im a PK and im still walking with God and Jesus is really real to me my best friend, he is the only one really for me and if it wasnt for Lonnie being a true example of what Jesus did when he walked in a living form on the earth then i have to say i really wouldnt be calling myself a Christian. I really got Lonnie heart and it made such an impression on me that now im pretty anti- church. I experience more miracles and the anointing Lonnie prayed over me works only in the places where church is not welcome.

Greg is a good man. I spoke with him a couple of time when i was very young (1977). i met with Lonnie twice. When I met Lonnie I liked him immediately. Lonnie was very cool, non judgmental. I was saddened when I heard that Lonnie passed away.
