I am so happy that a Hollywood movie star decided to turn his back on this evil world. I used to watch Growing Pains as a child, was a wholesome family sitcom for families to watch together. You do not get anything like that anymore, not even in animated children movies. I am so happy that you, Kirk are a a child of God and spreading the message far and wide!

I homeschooled my kids the whole way. They are now 38, 36, and 33. I did it when it wasn’t popular. My family rejected me. Thank you Kirk for your story. I still stand for what I did.

When I was a young girl, I watched Kirk step away from his successful role in that show, at the height of its popularity, bcs he had become a Christian…and refused to follow a storyline the producers wanted, “a revolving door of overnight girlfriends.” He said, “kids are watching me, and I would never do that,” or words to that effect. I had never in my life realized that there were young men out there WITH A MORAL CODE. I was shocked, amazed. I never forgot it. He made a big impact on me, before I came to Christ myself. Indeed, a good and faithful servant of the Lord(-:

I was a huge kirk Cameron fan as a child. Loved him. Joined his fan club...which sucked...waited many months and only got one stupid thing. I had every teen beat with his on the cover. Had a big poster of him on my bedroom wall. I was so sad when he left entertainment... but I understand and respect it now. Very glad to see him again after so long...still happily married. Thank you Kirk, Isaiah 12:2, is what kept me here. I reached for one of three books on my coffee table, The Quaran, The Kindom Hall, and The KJV Bible...I was depressed a bit, coming home from a long work trip sat down and asked for help at about 1am, something pulled me towards the KJV, I wiped off the dust and thumb it and my thumb stopped on Isaiah 12:2. A shiver went up my spine, and i kid you not it felt like a tremendous weight had been lifted from my shoulders. Thank God...that was about 20 years ago. Thank you for all you do in spreading hope and faith.

Well, I wish they'd get rid of the heretics and apostate preachers. Surely they know that TD Jakes, Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Todd White, Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Andy Stanley, Rick Warren and more are teaching a false gospel. But they allow them to continue to lead people astray on their platform. I don't know how you reconcile that because we will all answer for any we cause to stumble.

@misskim2058

Wise move. They take children away, and they just make up a bunch of things to cram into their heads, when the whole goal is to keep them, 13 Luciferian indoctrination years, cleverly disguised as “K through12”. But the point is that they are the formative years, so keep them away from the parents during their most alert time of day, tear them away from the people that they know and trust as soon as possible, give them back when they’re grown, and then, in that amount of time, con them into believing they actually need even more indoctrination to succeed in the Babylonian debt slave system. Carnegie and Rockefeller just wanted a nation of workers, not a nation of thinkers. They deliberately conspired to keep the people, poor, ignorant of financial matters, giving them some broad vague things never teaching them about multiple streams of income, or using money to always look for an opportunity to reinvest and double it, or triple it, they don’t teach that. They don’t teach kids how to make money work for them. They don’t use the example of which you could show a child in kindergarten of doubling a grain of rice, and then doubling that total, and then doubling the total every day for a month would give you millions of grains of rice. That’s so simple a child can understand it. And then you show them how to go about doubling that. But they wanted a crippled, enslaved nation. Mandated school was to create generations of mind-controlled servants, who would never learn about their spiritual rights or responsibilities, or biblical financial principles, or nor even are they allowed to critically think, without ridicule or punishment. Sure, some schools pretend to give them some critical thinking skills, but they are still given a tight perimeter, and not allowed to go out of bounds. And biblical financial principles are currently under attack by even a lot of Christians, who vehemently condemn prosperity teaching, it’s just one facet of God’s word. Some channels make it their full-time job, and they’re so misguided and they’re so spiteful and they think they are doing so much for God, when they’re going around bashing his workers and the kneecaps with a baseball bat. The parable of the talents is not primarily about your skills, (although, almost every parable has many levels and meanings, where it can apply, but this isn’t just about skills, that was a clever twisting of the Bible to take something that meant money, and turn it into skills, and sure, we should put to use everything God gives us, but that meant money also?, and the person who didn’t double his money was the wicked servant. The wicked one. A talent was a measurement of money. The ones who doubled their money were rewarded. Why didn’t you double your money? You wicked servant. This is telling people that God said “why did you think I was miserly?”, “Why did you think that I wouldn’t prosper you?”, “Why did you think that hiding your money and minimizing it would be a good thing?” This is very clear. Being miserly is an offense to God. Thinking that he is miserly is an offense to God. God said, “if you don’t double your money, I’ll take it away and give it to someone who will. What little you have will be taken away.” That is biblical. But they want to just turn that into “skills”, spiritual gifts, ANYTHING but money, and that somehow you just won’t be able to do that skill you could do before. You can apply that, but that’s not what it meant initially. It’s like these people want to just rip out all the financial lessons and just kind of brush them aside and say that everything is spiritual. And the thing is, non-Christians can see it. And they’re rightly repelled by it. They can see that it’s not in balance. They can see that some Christians just take that biblical teaching and kick it out the door and throw mud on it and spit on it. And when they do that, they are spitting in God’s face. The people who condemn the prosperity teaching don’t understand that if you are not financially independent and wealthy, if you have to check your bank balance in order to make any kind of move financially, YOU are a servant of Babylon. When you are financially independent, and that translates to wealthy, then you can do anything for God, anytime, anywhere, because you don’t owe anyone anything. And that’s what God said. Owe no man anything but to love him. And you are a slave if you have to worry about taking off and going and doing something for God. If you were truly free, when you are financially wealthy, and you can have nice stuff, it’s OK to have 28 cars in the garage and 1,000 houses worldwide and 47 airports, and thousands of planes, warehouses and semi trucks, galore, warehouse is stocked with all kinds of emergency supplies for people, we could be a blessing all over the place. Think what we could do for the kingdom of God if we had more Christians like that, we wouldn’t have to deal with the commercial airlines, and all their shenanigans. We wouldn’t have to worry about canceled flights, or having to go several places before getting to ONE‘s actual destination. One time it took me 19 hours to get from the mountain standard time zone to the East Coast. 19 hours because having to go here and wait there. This is why it’s preachers need their own planes. And they need the best because the fuel has to be efficient. You don’t need a red tape of stopping and wasting fuel here and there to refuel. You just get there and you go and you’re not wasting your time. Implying that there’s a financial price or value limit to the work of God is insulting God. “Sorry God, I will help you, but only if it doesn’t cost more than $500 a pop, or is it $1000?”…. What is the financial limit to acquiring materials and buildings and transportation and houses to put people up, what what kind of financial price are people putting on the work of God, exactly? If we had all those things, we could go help people anytime, anywhere. We could buy helicopters, we could even have helicopters and planes that had little hospitals, equipped as a hospital, emergency care, we could have decommissioned cargo planes, and bomber planes, and we could drop things besides bombs, we could be dropping food and medical supplies over areas, water filtration systems, and we could help people all over the world, but we can’t do that because we don’t have enough wealthy Christians to pull that off. We have too many benchwarmers that just want an excuse to not really, really get into the game. As long as it doesn’t interfere with their average every day boring life. And bill paying is a marvelous excuse. Think about what we could be doing for the kingdom of God. We could be doing amazing things. But everyone is so chained to the system, but they don’t have the eyes to see that we don’t actually have to live like that, we didn’t agree to it when we were born. Somebody just walked up to us and said “hey, we’re playing dodgeball, and your in the game”, and immediately started throwing balls at your head. But you don’t have to agree to play dodgeball. You don’t have to agree to be part of the Babylonian debt slave system. You can let God be your provider, you can say “Yes, God, load me up and let’s have a whole other system, where we don’t have to rely on Babylon, and their satanic financial system of the central banks.” And all of that would be OK just as long as you were still giving back to God. As long as he gets his, absolutely first, and you give wherever God has told you to give in addition, then it’s OK to have all the nice stuff. People don’t understand, God is The Creator! He is not limited, but some people who are claiming to be his people are trying to limit God, and then pretend that they are on his side, and that all these other people are evil and bad just because they actually believe God is telling the truth, when he says he is The Creator and can provide without limits. God is going to ask why they felt they needed to spend all their time trying to hinder him. They don’t understand that we aren’t talking about distributing water drop by drop, but let Niagara Falls flow. These people would drink water one drop at a time on their tongue if they thought it would make them look more pious. And they insult God, they insult God if he thinks they’re gonna toss them one little crumb at a time and that they should be grateful and suck on it until it dissolves in their mouths. The reason Jesus said not to bring anything with his disciples so that he could teach them to rely on God, not to teach them to be poor. But to show that God is the provider. He asked them at the end if they had ever wanted for anything. He didn’t ask him if they had needed anything. He asked them if that whole time they had **wanted** anything that they did not get. And of course they answered no. They walked away from families and businesses and their families and businesses had no deficit by their absence. Not only did he provide for them the whole time, their businesses prospered in their absence.

Does anyone today have that level of financial confidence? Is that a message that Christians are hearing in the pulpit? On all these preacher channels that we have? No, because they’re all these misguided Christians out there spending all the time making KZbin channels to condemn the few people who ARE teaching them that God actually DOES want all his people financially stable, even wealthy, because then, when he says jump, they can ask “how high”? (So, a lot of this came from people idolizing Paul. Somehow, just because Jesus wasn’t there to say “get behind me, Satan“, you’ll see that a lot of preachers fall into the trap of putting Paul on a pedestal. Everything he said must’ve been gospel doctrine. Well, if that were the case, never get married, unless you’re overcome with crazy lust. Because Paul said everyone should be like him, and go around preaching and not get married, but he was so gracious to tell people that if they were already married, it would be OK with him if they stayed married. Paul was not perfect. And the problem is too many people idolize him. Paul told his people to refrain from getting married. He said he would really like to see them not get married, and do what he does, and travel around with someone of his own sex remaining celibate. And since we all know everyone struggles with sin, we can only wonder what Paul’s were, but at the same time he remains celibate, but tells people to do the same. Is this God‘s plan for marriage? Did God say don’t get married unless you have lust so great that you marry only so you would not fall into sin…so in Paul’s eyes, marriage is merely the solution for not committing to sin of lust and fornication? How do they not see this?! (and that would contradict him telling women, or how people perceive and interpret the scripture, that is…telling women to stay silent in church, shut up and ask their husbands when they get home, but how can they do that if they don’t get married?) It’s appalling to see how many people just fawn all over every word that Paul says, and it’s when he says things about living barely within your means, and just being satisfied with that, that is also NOT in alignment with the word of God. That’s not what God said at all. Did they forget the Jesus got gold at birth? I never said Mary and Joseph were poor. Nowhere in the Bible does it say they were poor. But it certainly didn’t say they were embezzlers, either. And if Jesus had money and needed a treasurer, and provided for all his disciples and everything they needed, he was hardly poor. And they wouldn’t have fought over his outer garment if he were poor. God said “I will pour you out blessings you don’t have room enough to hold” (yes, he gave conditions, so meet the conditions, and then don’t reject his blessings). God said (paraphrasing) “When I am the priority, you won’t turn to greed.” But God finds joy in blessing his people. why are people trying to be such a buzz kill for God? Why are they trying to just ruin all his fun and his joy? Can you imagine having unlimited wealth, and the people around you keep rejecting anything you want to do for them, saying, they’ll just get by with the crumbs under the table, thank you very much they don’t want to be “greedy“, and you would be thinking, no, you’ve got this all wrong. And they do. So no, you don’t use lust as a basis for marriage, Paul. And no, Paul, we will NOT just be happy with nothing but the clothes on our backs, because we have more ambition for the kingdom of God, and it’s OK if we have nice things on the way, because when we have nice things, we can share those nice things with other people, too, and we can enjoy them for ourselves, because God never said don’t enjoy anything for yourself. He said don’t enjoy things only for yourself. There’s a big difference there. Paul was not perfect, he definitely had his moments of religious pride 🚫And no, we don’t treat the things that Paul said as red letters. We have to learn to look at them and say “that was a stupid idiotic thing for you to say, Paul!” And when he told women to be quiet in church, we’ve got all kinds of preacher, saying that women can’t teach in church, because blah, blah blah, one more dumb ass thing out of Paul’s mouth. By the way, if God can keep saying that he thinks of people as dung, or turn their house, or their life into a dunghill, (when they’ve gone against him, he has used those terms)? then saying “the four letter S word” isn’t actually cursing. Because dung was the medieval term for it. So, if God says, “I’ll turn your life to shit”, then it’s not really swearing to say that. So, at the time, and Paul’s day, and even to this day, people have the propensity to talk between readings of scripture in synagogue. So the admonition was it’s no time to chitchat. You’re supposed to Selah during that time. Between the readings of the Scriptures, you don’t start turning to your neighbor to chitchat, you should be thinking about what was said, and letting it settle in. Then, if the Holy Spirit doesn’t resolve it, talk about it later. Give the Holy Spirit a chance. But it didn’t mean women can’t get up and speak and teach. And even if Paul tried to say that, do we have any precedent for that from Jesus Christ? No. Mary sat at his feet, she asked questions. She wasn’t told to shut up and wait until later. Jesus had female disciples. They weren’t told they couldn’t do their thing. So, of course, God wants his people, wealthy, they are not thinking this through. They’re so full of religious pride, they are Pharisees. It is Pharisee doctrine to say did you shouldn’t try to make more money or have more income, that’s crippling the kingdom of God. It is absolutely crippling the kingdom of God. Because a Christian should be able to drop anything, anytime, anywhere, and go when God says go. But how convenient that they teach this crippling financially crippled state. That is Satan saying you shouldn’t receive blessings from God, and that if you do, you should give it all away, because that story about the rich young man. He was talking to the rich young man. He was not applying that principal to everyone. He was trying to teach the rich young man, if you value your stuff more than me, your priorities aren’t straight. It’s OK to have all that stuff, it was just his priorities. And if he had given it away, God would’ve replaced it. It’s that he didn’t understand the principle that God would just replace it. God is your provider. That’s why he was told to do that, it was not to say hey you should do this. And just because Christians did this or that doesn’t mean that they were acting correctly all the time. They’re just telling you what they did. You have to use your head and critically think and say does that really line up with what God said, or at times were. they well-intentioned and misguided instead?
@misskim2058
@misskim2058 Жыл бұрын
So it’s up for people to actually stop and think is that really what Jesus was saying, or are they kind of learning? We’re seeing these learning experiences, and we need to learn from them also, instead of seeing them as “people who did everything right”. The problem we have are a lot of Christians, looking from act forward and seeing everything they did as perfectly correct. And people taking everything out of Paul’s mouth as perfectly correct inspired words of God. No, they were not. Paul is not Jesus Christ. Paul is not Jesus Christ. Paul is not Jesus Christ. What Paul says is not gospel truth. What Paul says is not gospel truth. What Paul says is not gospel truth. And people need to get this through their thick heads. Because it’s their misguided following of Paul that causes all kinds of trouble, and cripples the work of the kingdom of God. We need to encourage each other to shut up and receive from God. And he didn’t say give it all away, it’s OK if you have 40,000 square-foot house or if you had 100 of them worldwide. People are forgetting who is the creator. And having things doesn’t take anything away from someone else. They’re a failure to learn from God is their failure. And you don’t cripple yourself and hinder yourself because somebody else did. That is a lesson that all Christians need to learn. Stop crippling yourself just because other people have! So it’s their fault, and it’s OK if God wants to give you a ton of stuff and you’re still giving his 10% or more, and you’re still giving money wherever God tells you too, wherever God tells you, too, wherever God tells you too, and he prospered you, so you can keep blessing people right and left every time he tells you, too, the people that are against you could be damned. Because they have damned themselves, they have cursed themselves, damned themselves, and they’re going around cursing and damning everyone else by saying there’s something wrong with it. The world would not be in the hellhole that it is right now, if they didn’t fall for the satanic lies that you should reject the blessings of God, tell him where he can stick them, and refuse to receive them, on some pompous pretense of piety. And I can tell you a lot of otherwise good KZbin channels, a lot of otherwise good preachers, who are grieving the Holy Spirit by telling the people they need to stay crippled and hobbled, and demonizing the blessings of God. Be blessed, say yes. Say yes to the blessing, and tell Satan to shut up when he tries to tell you there’s something wrong with it, so when God says “Go here and do this”, you don’t have to start giving him excuses about how much you’d really love to, but you don’t have your own form of transportation to fly to another country when he wants you to, you don’t have a house to stay at; or you’d really love to help those people make their mortgage payment so they don’t lose their home, that tiny little bit of taxes that make or break, that person’s world, or pay for that medical building for the person that crossed your path that God said to help, not every person that comes with a sob story, but the ones that God tells you to help… …it’s hindering the kingdom of God to demonize prosperity teaching. NONE of the most faithful men of the Bible were called greedy by God. He called them blessed. Then, blessed and prosperous Christians can hire OTHER Christians to be also blessed and prosperous, we wouldn’t see the evil that we see in society if more Christians have the wealth. Their corporations would not sponsor gay pride month. They wouldn’t tolerate this nonsense, there wouldn’t be people buying from these corporations, or being the corporations that sponsor the evil. You couldThen, blessed and prosperous Christians can hire other Christians to be also blessed and prosperous, we wouldn’t see the evil that we see in society if more Christians had the wealth. Their corporations would not sponsor gay pride month. They wouldn’t tolerate this nonsense, there wouldn’t be people buying from these corporations, or being the corporations that sponsor the evil. You could take all the realized, and unrealized income of every prosperity teacher, your assets, all of their assets, and put them all together, and it still would not add up to the possessions of Abraham, or lot, or Isaac, or Isa, or Jacob, or Job, or David, or Joseph. God said he would expand your tents. That equals your house. That means a bigger house. And he said he would expand your borders, that means real estate, that means more real estate. Then he said he would expand your kettle, and your orchards, and your vineyards, that means where you grow wine. That’s another one that Christians condemn. No, God never takes anything unholy as an offering, but they were commanded to bring their wine and their strong drink as offerings. Now people can try to twist the Bible and say he condemns it, but he only words against its abuse. He also warned against the abuse of food. But you never hear Christian swearing oGod said he would expand your tents. That equals your house. That means a bigger house. And he said he would expand your borders, that means real estate, that means more real estate. Then he said he would expand your cattle, and your orchards, and your vineyards, that means where you grow wine. That’s another one that Christians condemn. No, God never takes anything unholy as an offering, but they were commanded to bring their wine and their strong drink as offerings. Now people can try to twist the Bible and say he condemns it, but he only warns against its abuse. He also warns against the abuse of food. But you never hear Christians wearing off ever eating food again as long as they live, list, they fall into the sin of gluttony.. They never call food a “slippery slope“. The gallons of quote, grape juice” when God says wine, he means wine. So I’ve heard people like perry stone say nothing ever nothing good ever came from alcohol in the Bible. Well, Perry, I love you, but that saying that people bringing their offering to the temple is quote nothing good”. And Jesus saving face at a wedding for a newlywed couple his quote. Nothing good”.The gallons of “grape juice“ when God says wine, he means wine. So I’ve heard people like perry stone say nothing ever nothing good ever came from alcohol in the Bible. Well, Perry, I love you, but that saying that people bringing their offering to the temple is “nothing good“. And Jesus saving face at a wedding for a newlywed. Couple is “nothing good“. And God‘s people keeping their feasts and wine and strong drink were commended, and that’s calling it. “nothing good“? Jesus serves it at his last supper to his disciples, so he’s calling the last supper. “nothing good“? Jesus says when he will drink wine again, with his people. I guess these men are going to turn their glass upside down and lectured Jesus, about the sins of alcohol, and how people are just trying to make excuses to drink“ . And most preachers do this., In fact, I haven’t found one who doesn’t condemn alcohol. And they will say people are making excuses, and it’s of the devil, but be very careful not to take what God calls good and call it evil. Because a lot of Christians get into that Bible, and they think it says what it doesn’t say, and they twisted to what they wanted to say. And the Pharisees did that. The Pharisees added burdens that God did not place on the people. They thought they were being Pios, they thought they were being more godly, but they weren’t. Maybe they need to go read Deuteronomy 14 very carefully. And I could point out a lot of others. Trouble to tell when a priest should not drink, if there was a sin with drinking. Calls wine and strong drink a blessing. Your wine presses will overflow. Not your grape juice. Your wine presses. You will be blessed with an abundance of wine. And if misguided Christians could get off of this false doctrine of condemning it and calling it, a sin, they can stop entering the kingdom of God just the way they hinder the king of God by saying that we should be happy with nothing but the clothes on our backs. But on the day of Pentecost, Peter, had a perfect opportunity to condemn, drinking alcohol. And all he said was it was too early in the day to be drunk. God doesn’t want anything to own you whether that’s your job, food, alcohol, your favorite, hobby, or anything else. But nowhere in the Bible, is it a sin to drink alcohol. and a lot of non-Christians read that in the Bible, and they use it to point out the hypocrisy of Christianity. Calling somebody that drinks, wine or liquor a sinner is not in the Bible. It’s a biblical. Solomon is the one that warns about it, the most, and it’s about overindulging. Don’t become hypnotized by it in the New Testament, you shouldn’t be given to a lot of drink, that doesn’t mean no drink. And that’s all or nothing mentality is not from God. It’s absolutely not from God. Because anyone that condemns drinking alcohol is calling God unholy. And a sinner, and they are calling, Jesus, unholy, and a sinner, and someone who temps other people to sin. People need to read the Bible as if they just came to earth and they didn’t have any preconceived notions. And stop putting churchianity and religiosity and Pharisee doctrine into God’s mouth.

Your prayer in your sports car on the side of the rode was my prayer in front of a stained glass window in a small church I attended "for the benefit of a family member." I didn't ask all your big questions. I was just curious...wondering if I was wasting my time on Sunday mornings. God's answer was immediate..."The Tractor Beam of Heaven" said YES. I was shocked. But from that moment I knew I needed to get to know Him. Thanks for all you do to introduce people to God, Christ, and Christians seeking to honor Him with their lives! (20:25) What a WONDERFUL question and answer on the creation of TBN! (35:00) Home Schooling - My son and wife began with homeschooling their 5 kids. As an ex-teacher from the "old days." Kirk, my brother, while Reagan said that Freedom in America is only one generation from extinction, as parents and grandparents, we have been trusted with the Word of God, with the Law, the Writings, the Prophecies, The Gospels, The Acts of the Apostles, the Epistles, and The Revelation of Jesus Christ. These are our signposts and mile-markers to help us stay on the right road, and to teach our children and grand children, as we rise up, when we lie down, and when we walk along the way. For the freedom offered through Jesus is best found through us. Easily it can be said, this eternal freedom is one generation from extinction. Thank you for helping the rest of us not let that happen.

There is a non believer Then there is atheism. I was truly borderline atheist. I only say I wasn’t for 26 years because every so often I would question if there was a god out there. I don't know if you've ever seen this comment from me before, Kirk, but my story about your story is that I could see and sense that you were born again/a fellow Christian, THROUGH the TV screen and miles, the script, the acting ! I just could ! I told myself It might be wishful thinking on my part , but I just FELT it ( I wanted everyone to be saved, esp. likeable, cute people 😁, & esp. kids in Hollywood. I am around your age, maybe slightly younger and so was only a teen myself at the time.) I hadn't watched Growing Pains super regularly but had seen it enough and saw the changes in you/your character, and they really seemed to be coming from within YOU. I didn't know anything about you, so, for all I knew you'd been a Christian all along and just finally had enough clout and the show was established enough &/or on it's way out anyways, so they allowed you to influence the script and your character maybe. I also thought maybe it wasn't someone else, some writer/director/producer/actor who was making these changes, but you definitely seemed joyful about them. Seemed more wholesome and more alive, from within ! So, I honestly just prayed for you, for everyone there and prayed I'd see you in heaven someday and maybe find out the whole story then. Many years later I'm ordering some books through CBD and lo & behold, an autobiography of yours ! By now, you've been doing Christian productions and ministry and what not, other people knew you were a believer but I hadn't had a TV in a long time or "got out" much at all ( unusual home, family, farm situation with my family, and my health & finances further limited me) , basically really did " live under a rock" for the most part, so I'd had no clue. I was delighted !!! Read your book and praised God and was SO happy to find out Candace was your sister and also was a Believer, yay !!! Stephanie ( can't think of her real name) on Full House had been my favorite, so this meant that she had a believer in her life, probably praying for her even if they weren't friends anymore or whatever. Had someone to share the gospel when that door was ever open to, etc. . Sorry to go on & on. Point was that I SAW the change in you, could really see it in your eyes and face and from your heart, EVEN through a scripted TV show - how COOL is that ??!!! I just MARVEL and PRAISE God !!! He is amazing, & He in us makes us amazing !!!
