God I know he's like not the best center in today's nba but it's so cool to watch guys who can post up and score with old school moves. It's refreshing after only seeing three pointers every damn game
@alisteroidthecheatertestos9648 жыл бұрын
Preach it bro. These young cats don't know what posting up is anymore. I'm in the gym hooping and even as a PG, I still post up. All these cats do is go to the 3 point line and shoot 3's. I admit the game is changing but 3 pointers are boring.
@xzero73788 жыл бұрын
its also a cop out to being a bad team almost. if they can defend but they can make a bunch of threes they will win. at the gym I post up and pass well and the team tries to rebound but we lose cause of threes, its not that fun to play against.
@rimbo4208 жыл бұрын
tommy yang Not only do they shoot threes, its the only thing they can do. Also, its great to learn a post game as a PG because not many PG's can defend in the post.

they need to start plumlee with him to cover the defensive liabilities of him and parker. line up should be PG: Giannis SG: middleton SF: Jabari PF: plumlee C: Moose still have athleticism in the post with plumlee and consistent offence with Monroe, keep their identity of tall and lengthy. plumlee can rotate on defense to help Monroe and cover parker while running the floor with Giannis and if they cant get a fast break bucket, dump it to Moose and let him operate with weakside cuts and isolations for middleton to benefit off of a double team

Sounds like Greg Monroe as been on the trading block since the summer and the Bucks are clearly phasing him out of the lineup. Love the Blazers to trade for him. We could throw you a quality player, Allen Crabbe. Money wise it matches up across the board. Monroe I just think doesnt fit the bucks system and needs a playmaking point guard to help him offensively.
@MicoRich8 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Any team that can use his skills would be smart to trade for him. This dude is a double-double machine if he gets starters minutes. I don't know why the Bucks are not giving him minutes, but some other team needs to take advantage of that.
@reznortetrault43488 жыл бұрын
I think they're just moving on from him. He has a player option in his final year and from the outside both parties will go separate ways. I'm a Blazers fan. Greg Monroe brings a lot of what the Blazers are missing. They could give him a quality starting role.

I don't like this guy because he disrespected the Knicks in FA last year & he doesn't play any defense, but offensively, he's a skilled big man with excellent footwork & a smooth touch. Plus he's a lefty. He does too many spin moves tho. It gets predictable. I'm happy now with Joakim Noah :)
@xzero73788 жыл бұрын
predictable, yet effective, you could say the same thing about a ton of NBA players but if it works why not use it?
