The “some guy at work found the car” guy was me. I was nuts not to buy it for $3000, but I passed it on to Rob Kinnan who bought it and then sold it to Greg.

In 1971 my uncle stopped by the house, driving a his new used 67 Mustang GT 390 4spd. We all ran (beat) our cars at Fremont drags back then, so off we went. ..Under hard launch the car wheel hopped slightly worse than bad but, managed a good pass after the sun set, ..around 15.10 mid 90's mph. It looked just like this Mustang, Boss Man..

Awesome video! I also have a drag survivor. It’s a 1976 big block camaro. It’s bracket car. Was built at precision speed in California 32 years ago. Hasn’t been touched since. Very old school. Paint job is about 20 years old. Everything on this car besides that is about 39 years old. And the history of this car is a awesome story. Wish I could get some pictures on here for you. Love the mustang. I’m huge mustang fan! I grew up driving around with my uncle. He has a 1965 Shelby GT 350 he bought new. We had that car in a lot of car shows. Still does. Don't care for Drag Racing but love the Road Racing (Turns) bit. I do like the 67 Fastback out of all the Mustangs. You had to keep the body and re do the rest to make a fast road car that would handle right. Lots of cutting & welding plus a major message on engine ,trans, and read end. The 67s still had the vent windows. Terrible they got rid of them and the fresh air floor vents.
