It would have to have a 482 iron block BBM FE, a set of CNC TF or BBM heads and a2x4 BBM TW and Holley XFI 2x4 throttle bodies. Nitrous Schmitrous. Does Dulcich still have the 363 Cougar?

My dad bought a brand new yellow 1967 Mustang fastback, back in the day. One of my enduring childhood memories is us being pulled over by a cop on a winding rural highway and my dad being proud about how fast the cop said we were going.

In 1971 my uncle stopped by the house, driving a his new used 67 Mustang GT 390 4spd. We all ran (beat) our cars at Fremont drags back then, so off we went. ..Under hard launch the car wheel hopped slightly worse than bad but, managed a good pass after the sun set, ..around 15.10 mid 90's mph. It looked just like this Mustang, Boss Man..

I loved how honest the owner is and how he wasn’t scared to say how much he put into the car and bought it for. A lot of people now days don’t like saying prices for whatever reason may be but I love knowing the way I can at least somewhat compare it to other cars for sale and yes I know the car is worth a whole lot more than what he paid for it back then lol

Perfect in every way. I shed a tear seeing that quick shot of old LACR. The sights, sounds, and smells. That was my release. Friday nights I would hurry home, do the 'Drag Race' adjustments and sneak my way to the track.

I was a street racer in the SFV during the 70's and 80's. My first car, run '74-'76, was a blue '68 GT/CS with a built 289 4-speed in Acapulco Blue. The only, to my knowledge, California Special "in the scene" based in VNB. Always looking for any of the old crew, but before your time I think. Love your car. Great video.

A '67 Mustang drag car with 48,000 miles. That's alot of miles, a quarter mile at a time. I like the fact that you havn't done a restomod, or made it to show it off on the street on weekends. It looks extremely good, and stays true to it's lineage as a drag car...

Love these mustangs I had a 68 Shelby GT350 with a 302 back in the day. Had to sell for 4K in 1981 to buy a house. Been kicking my butt ever since. Lost my car and a few years later ended up getting divorced. Double whammy. Enjoy beautiful ride.

Awesome video! I also have a drag survivor. It’s a 1976 big block camaro. It’s bracket car. Was built at precision speed in California 32 years ago. Hasn’t been touched since. Very old school. Paint job is about 20 years old. Everything on this car besides that is about 39 years old. And the history of this car is a awesome story. Wish I could get some pictures on here for you. Love the mustang. I’m huge mustang fan! I grew up driving around with my uncle. He has a 1965 Shelby GT 350 he bought new. We had that car in a lot of car shows. Still does. Keep up the great videos! 👍

When I was a kid around 1977 or so, my dad bought a 1968 Fastback GT It was orange and the crease down the side of the car was outlined with a reflective white. Factory 390 4 spd but someone had put a set of 406 heads with the Holley Tri-Power on it. The carbs set backwards because the distributor at the front of the engine, posi trac 3.89 gears. He bought it for $1000.00

In 1970 i bought a 67 mustang fastback identical to the Bullitt car 390ci 4 speed,4:11posi,Offenhiuser intake Holley 4barell,i paid $1200 i was 15 years old, I wish I still had it.It was great fun.Engine bay was so cramped with headers it would take me all day just to change the spark plugs on one side.

Great survivor drag car, we live in the Detroit area, I remember many drag races on I-75 & M-59, we would meet at the weigh stations(or gas stations), unload the cars, stop traffic, race, load back up...those were some crazy times...

This was my DD during high school, even the same color, just no hood scoop. Mine had my hand built/balanced 351C w/a M21 four-speed w/ 3:90 gears. Think I'd fill those screw holes in the hood, just on general principles. lol Sweey ride! Definitely more C.I. than my set-up. My envy meter is blowin' up!!! Didn't hear what kind of 1/4 mile times yurs ran, but my best on the 50 series BFGs was a 12:89 at about 120+MPH.

My sister had a 1967 fastback when I was around ten years old and every time I heard it start up I was running out the door to get in for a ride. I've had many Mustangs over the years but unfortunately I never had my favorite 1967 fastback. Maybe some day it's on my bucket list!

Don't care for Drag Racing but love the Road Racing (Turns) bit. I do like the 67 Fastback out of all the Mustangs. You had to keep the body and re do the rest to make a fast road car that would handle right. Lots of cutting & welding plus a major message on engine ,trans,and read end. The 67s still had the vent windows. Terrible they got rid of them and the fresh air floor vents.

But they are expensive here. Your car can do in Belgium 20000 euro. That's more than 20000 dollar. And a coupe is a lot more expensive. Nice to see a young man enjoy that car so much. Greg , I simply love her and I would not change a thing. I am 67 and finally have a performance car after all the years of life. Salvage Title 2008 Bullitt 1935 and I will love my Lisa until I die !!! I drive her for the sound. I gutted the radio !
