Seems to be fair-minded and unbitter towards all those he's worked with even if they've been not so great to him. I grew up in the Tampa Bay area of Florida which also happens to be the the true home of many wrestlers I've been fortunate enough to cross paths in public with a few of the well-known wrestlers most of them are kind and polite to their fans but when I ran across Greg The Hammer Valentine shopping one day I walked up putting my hand out for a handshake and said I don't want to make a scene and have a bunch of people come here but I want to thank you for many years of enjoyment watching you do what you do the man look me straight in the eye and said thank you that's one of the nicest compliments I've ever heard such a polite kind-hearted gentleman he proved to me that day just chatting for a couple of moments of his true persona once again the hammer Valentine I will always wish you the best in your endeavors and thank you for all the entertainment for so many years and also most importantly how kind thoughtful and gracefulness when we had a few moments to just talk once again thank you sir

The best match I saw of him ,was the dog collar match with Roddy Piper . It was brutal , and at one point ,Valentine pounded Pipers ear to the point that his ear was really damaged . Still when both guys work together, it's magic . Valentine tells great recollections of all wrestlers . No bitterness and he's a class act when he answers the questions .
