Good Job! Congrats on the 8+ pounder! Like you, I'm still waiting on the double digit hawg! In my 40+ years of fishing (many of those on the Delta), I have caught two big fish - one at 9.37 and another at 9.24, with dozens of bass in the 7 and 8 pound range! To add a little salt to my double digit "lack-of-a-catch" wound, my buddy, who I introduced to bass fishing several years ago, caught his first double digit bass at 11.5 pounds on the Delta after only 3 years of picking up the bass stick! I told him it was beginner's luck and because of all that I taught him .....ha! ha! ha! Keep up the great videos, I love watching them since it gives me my bass fishing fix when I can't get out. Good luck and keep on fishing for that big one!

Kept looking for a 3/8 to 1/2 oz white tandem willow leaf spinner bait to be thrown in those grass flats (mine would have had a hint or chartreuse in the trailer). Oh well . . . The Delta is different than Santee . . . So I’ll stay in my lane. Nice Toad Greg!!! Always enjoy the drops!!!

That 8 was beautiful. It is time for big fish. We had a big fish bass tournament on my lake in SW Washington on the 21st. 8.13 lb was first overall, and 7.94 lb (approximately) was 2nd. They pay big fish each hour.

I’m surprised you haven’t gotten into BFS fishing. Or, at least haven’t seen contents on it. I’ve only been on the Delta 4x this year. I’ve been trying to learn how to fish reservoirs. It may be time for me to head back.

I always wonder if the change in weather & extreme conditions we normally don’t see play a part in the bite & definitely water temps but we just had temps of 110 just a week ago & today it’s figgy & overcast. Our local lake in the 805 area has been pretty productive I was away on a trip so time to get back out. But I haven’t had much luck on size all the fish I’ve caught have been smaller but you know the bigger ones are there I saw a 4/5 pounder pass right in front of me & saw a huge fish jump out of the water it was not super fat but was super long it had to have been in the 6lb range. That’s why you keep fishing though because eventually your gunna catch a bigger one.

great videos Greg loving watching them while I work. Curious question. Do you just leave your NK motor on really low and just creep through through the bank? I am deciding on an xi3 or an NK180pro and am leaning towards the NK because I want the motor in the back of the kayak.
