Pretty sure I saw you fishing at the rocks today West of the bridge. There was some other kayaker that I saw with you on a red kayak. I could not find any places to launch my 10' pontoon boat off the road. There are no roads to the lake to launch and the terrain is too steep. The nearest boat launch wont work for me in a pontoon since that would be an impossibly long row. The far north end parking lot could work if I had roller wheels to go down the path. Saw bass hitting stuff off top water down in brushy areas there today.

Just curious as to why you keep your drag so loose on the spinning reel. Any reason??
@43v3rsd94 жыл бұрын
On ned rigs if your drag is too tight you can potentially bend out hooks because they are very light wire

what he said^. Also using some relatively light line and if per chance a big one is on and spools me on a tightened drag my line will have a much greater chance of breaking

Hey Greg, thanks for always making enjoyable content. Question for ya. How do you manage braid on your spinning gear? I’m getting a lot of wind knots lately when trying to cast farther. I’ve been watching everything I can on KZbin about it but I’m still experiencing the knots. Thanks!
@GregBlanchardFishing4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ethan! Hmm, make sure your spool isnt "overspooled" with braid. maybe the braid is your using is too heavy as well. I use 15# braid on spinning setups
@madknacker4 жыл бұрын
Greg Blanchard I’m leaning towards the same conclusion. After being unable to get a knot out, I cut and re-tied. I’ve gotten fewer wind knots but they’re still happening enough to make me not want to cast too far. Might be time to take a little more off. I’m using 15# Sufix.

Josh Hamilton in my marina I saw maybe an 8 and the male 4 bedder. I fished that with everything I could think of. Finally, got the male 3 times on a chatterbait.
