Still had a nice showing. Those were some big numbers for 3 fish. I've never fished Otisco before but a lot of guys I know that live in that area and fish it a lot say the North end is where it's at
@GregBlanchardFishing5 жыл бұрын
THanks man, nice. I might have to head back and give the north end a shot
@FitzYakin5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've got to try it one of these days myself. Otisco is only about an hour south of me. I've just never made the trek there. But I work in Syracuse so I'm real close from work. Guess there is a county park or something on the NE end you can launch from

Hey Greg really love your videos. You've gone over you boat and tackle. Even your rain gear but never what you wear on a normal day. When i say a normal day i mean you boots and waders if you're wearing waders. Seen you step in the water several times when launching and would really like to know what you're foot wear as as well as waders you are wearing. Please post or respond. Keep up the great work Thanks man.

Thanks for watching Dewey! I believe I linked all clothing in this video in the description box under "Fishing clothing" but either way typically I've been wearing NRS Champion bibs paired with their boundary boots. Lets me walk into the water about 1 foot or so without waterlogging the boots.

I love to explore/ blind fish new lakes from the bank! It can produce some of the best adventure and fish. I'll definitely throw out my portable sonar to check depth and temp. Then I'll throw some search baits like a crank or spinner. No bites and I slow down to a trick worm wacky style... Great vid Greg!

Good tourney vid as always. I took my buddy that I work with this morning and there was a crazy amount of people on the water. I fished the same water as last year at this time but had to use completely different things. I caught most on a white booyah frog throwing under low trees in shade pockets. 👊👍

Hello Greg I hope you have a great weekend just wondering why you don't upgrade your fish finder to make it easier, For self being bank fisherman I've two I have the deeper and the lucky. As a bank fishfinger it can be hard to fine the fish! If you're on a budget got for the lucky guys $160. The deeper Australia $450!!! and the lucky comes with a little tv thing some time the deeper will not connect and the Lucky will, And shows were the fish are and if there bottom or suspended and what's the bottom like!

All the more rewarding when you beat all the hobie guys in their 5000 dollar rigs. I fish tournaments out of a feel free lure 10, currently 14th of 70 in angler of the year points for my state's club, my buddy fishes out of a vibe yellowfin. My advice go for it, you'll meet some awesome new friends, and regardless of finish it's a great learning experience.

Guys were crushin' em! Crazy to say but the 2 tournaments I've now fished this month in NY the overall top 10 has been way harder to crack here in NY than out in California! CA will always take big fish but overall consistency for solid limits seems to be in NY's corner!
@iowabassman47015 жыл бұрын
Great video as usual! You shoukd come fish the Pool 9 and 10 KBF event in July on the upper Mississippi river. Gonna be a frog fishing extravaganza, and with it coinciding with our IKA club tournament could be couple hundred boats! You can enter both 😉

Did you say "four younder" on that second fish? Are you watching Jacob Wheeler videos, Greg? If so, please don't start saying "ding".
@GregBlanchardFishing5 жыл бұрын
Haha, good call out. I love JW videos, I think some of the best pro videos out there. But, the truth is "4 yonder" comes straight from my buddy Obedie Williams back in California. He's best friends with MDJ and obviously MDJ and JW are close. I only copy Obedie so "ding" won't be apart of the fishing phrases.
