I'm sick of men thinking they can say and do what they like about women and girls and get away with it I would be so ashamed if my son or husband did anything like to hurt women or girls. Chrissie from somerset

Greg Wallace was once in the newspapers for assaulting someone who touched his girlfriend, allegedly. Some he sounds like he has a temper on him. As usual, it's either hushed up or it takes years for the allegations to surface. I've always found Wallace rather arrogant and abrasive. I don't have much sympathy for him.

Gordon Ramsay doesn’t ask a lesbian to describe their sexual acts or tell a contestant what sexual act his wife did to him this morning…prance around with his 60 year old body shirtless (Gregg is 60) or put his hands near a bending over woman’s bottom & say “Coorrrr” in front of other women. Bit different mate. Also, many women & men don’t watch Ramsay’s shows because they don’t like the curse language, others like it. The two aren’t the same at all.

I think this opens up a discussion about where the "line" should be and when "banter" goes too far. I want society to maintain banter, maintain playfulness. It's NO FUN to be serious and "appropriate" at all times - but there HAS TO be a line. That line is drawn by the person you're interacting with. If they're not in on the banter, if it's totally one sided and doesn't make the other person laugh, only serving to make them feel uncomfortable - it's bullying. How much of the bullying he is aware of - it's hard to say, maybe he lacks social skills and finds it hard to interpret when he's making people feel bad - but I'd wager that he has always been aware that he's been pushing boundaries and likely gets off on it. Is it illegal? no. Should he lose his position? yes. Should he be doomed for all eternity? not necessarily, he can still find a path forward in his life and might still find work presenting for an audience that will accept him - it just shouldn't be at the BBC and on behalf of license payers' money.

What a load of Woke nonsense. If he’s good at his job and people enjoy him presenting Masterchef let him carry on i say. What has he done that’s actually illegal? And why didn’t his accusers come out with it years ago? It’s just a load of sensitive snowflakes without a sense of humour who are kicking up a fuss about nothing! These middle class snowflake women haven’t lived in the real world in work places where good hearted banter and innuendos are thrown about both by men and women. It’s typical of the Woke BBC that something so petty gets pulled up 🙄 He’s hardly in the Huw Edward’s league is he? They are professionals in other fields with their own careers, why could they not say to him something at the time? Why wait so many years? MASTERCHEF is a much loved programmed, watched by many. Wallace came across as charming, knowledgeable an excellently food judge, with with great taste buds and a bit of a roving eye - a lovable roque - If I understand rightly, many of these complaints were made by former contestants -some sore losers, perhaps? ( and what took them so long) This phenomenon has been around forever…….This doesn’t mean, that men should get away with it, on the contrary, but there are other ways than cancellation and destroying an otherwise good man’s career and a good program. In my days ( last century 😅) we were dealing with these kind of instants a bit differently. We laughed it off, a slap on their hands and that was that….. no harm done and that was the end of that. I always was a great fan of BBC, great costume dramas, great documentaries etc, but, alas, lately, lost his integrity….and more Justice for some real crimes? Diana’s documentary with Martin Bashir. He was producing false bank statements, which enabled him (apparently this is not a crime), to convince the Earl of Spencer to make the introduction to Princess Diana - and the rest is history - again not illegal - apparently. Although the police was alerted, the police declined to take it any further….( on who’s order, I wonder? Could History turned out differently, if Bashir hadn’t convinced Spencer????

So women aren't allowed to say when they feel uncomfortable at inappropriate remarks or sexual innuendos that they would rather not have to hear especially from a person in a senior position and ina a work environment. Why can't a woman say "sorry bit that made me uncomfortable and I'd rather not hear it whilst I'm at work. Its not about "cherry picking"...what offends one person might not another but a person should be able say "sorry but thats not ok by me..."and that should be enough. If another woman has no issue with it then good for her but this is a work environment and he was a senior person. ...also Jeremey Vine is so strange...has he lost all the work at the BBC ?...this isn't just a BBC issue but happens everywhere in work places everywhere and also ina pub with women who you do not know, its totally different with women you know and have a relationship with but with women you don't know it still wouldn't be appropriate. "Ordinary bloke with a funny sense of hunour...."lol well thats all a matter of opinion isn't "mate"whats funny to one person is not for another and whats ordinary"anyway and why does that give you a license to say things to a woman and make her feel uncomfortable !!! Maybe you need to check your own behaviour and maybe you're not as funny as you think you are being an "ordinary bloke"...what does ordinary mean here ? not having to think about how your behaviour effects others !!! poor excuse

I was a teen 15-20 years old in 1985-1990, and had a fantastic time going out with my 2 best mates, best decade ever, and half this nonsense now was not even a thing! The amount of guys we used to play up, and them playing us up, it is called living, and not taking offence at every single stupid thing someone says!! I feel the need to warn young men here... looks matter a great deal to woman. If you are not the best looking guy, be VERY careful what you say around woman. You might see the Chad/alpha guts being flirty and using sexual inuendos etc, but do not think the same thing will work for you. This is what confuses men. They see attractive guys in the media being overly flirty and society calls that 'confidence' but society doesn't admit that it's about looks, so awkward/ugly guys copy and it doesn't go down well. Be very careful guys.

@@EllaHanley-i6p Nobody is triggered, but it's funny when companies hire people just by their sexual orientation or their gender or ethnicity rather than by their merits and CV...all this diversity quota nonsense. Lots of you far lefties do that silly stuff. By the way, I'm a moderate leftist who is an ethnic minority...so don't pull the racist/sexist/fascist card on me, lol.
