Hi Greg :) I've been watching your videos for a bit now and I love what you have done with the greenhouse and pond build. I'm wondering if you ever sell any of your axie eggs? I'm looking for some albinos to add to my strain and to hatch for the experience :).

Hey Greg, Awesome content buddy. As for the DE filter... I messed around with DE to kill a flea infestation once. It works well killing any creature with an exoskeleton. Don't know how it will do in an aquatic environment. Especially around shrimp, crayfish, or anything like that. The DE also found its way into my backup hard drives and killed them too. I had 6 drives go bad within a couple of months. Don't know if it will or how it may effect you in your usage but I wanted to share that info with you so you could watch out for similar issues. Take care and have a super New Year buddy :)

DE filters are super old school in fish keeping, the DE is contained inside a membrane, i'll show it soon
@spartanhonor75387 жыл бұрын
JLathem has a good point, DE is Very abrasive, use caution, don't create any dust and wear a dust mask when handling. See microscopic pic of DE, you don't want this in your lungs or computer.

Spartan Honor - Back in the early 70s I used DE on an aquatic filter but I was breeding cichlids and community fish. It works well for that but I don't know how it may effect invertebrates. Back then computers or electronics weren't around like they are today. And it's still used in pool filters. But it is very good advice to wear breathing protection whenever handling it.

Hi How many days do you need to waite to remove the eggs away from the parents? It takes the female to fertilize the sperm spores right ? So how long do we have to waite for that , Ty in advance
@gregjonesonline6 жыл бұрын
Razya Lowne the female holds on to sperm packets and the eggs are fertile before they are laid I believe, pull the eggs the same day after she is done laying
