Pastor Greg Laurie is a fantastic evangelist. I had the honor as a young girl to travel from San Bernardino to Riverside California and watch him preach on Sunday mornings. I was saved at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, Chuck Smith’s church. I was actually evangelized to on the beach in Newport just like Greg Laurie is talking about. I went to church on a Sunday night. On my way back home from the beach and it was a day like no other. 🙏

Yes, it is difficult to tell when we should bring up the subject. But something I’ve noticed, it’s only the most difficult when we first start trying to do it. It seems to get easier as we continue to press on in sharing the gospel with others. It even gets easier to accept rejection which we get more so than not.

3:33 🙏✝️. I became a Christian at 14, and read thur the Book of John not realizing that the Holy Spirit was using all those personal relationships Jesus handled all the different people and their needs. Let the Holy Spirit overshadowed you with His agape/love to set people free from the burden of sin in their life. That was 47 years ago and now I use the whole Bible to prepare my daily encounters to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 🏜️☝️😎❤️📖✝️🛐❤️

Probably the most frustrating thing is our own family members not being interested or being turned away from Christ by others. My daughter is the biggest blessing in this world God has ever given me. Having her was the catalyst for me seeking God and accepting Christ. She grew up watching me come to Faith and initially she was right there with me, however she has been turned away from it by others and their "logic" that no loving God would allow for so much evil. I'm hoping that by listening to this it will help me give her something to think about. And I think one argument I already have a great answer for. Thank you Pastor Laurie!

I am not familiar with this pastor but I will share how I got here. Today at work a patient walks up and says to me, "Someone told me to tell you that you need to learn how to give a gift". With a smile as big as can be. I'm thinking, got to be talking about the good news of Jesus Christ. I have been talking to random people about my testimony and Jesus but off the top of my head. I see were I could improve on by watching this video. Thanks for posting it. Be blessed.

Can you even imagine a God so great that sent his son into the world, not to slaughter evil people and conquer the world, but instead to wash people's feet, interact and forgive and show mercy to prostitutes, Tax collectors, thieves, etc... i mean really think about it. The being who CREATED THE UNIVERSE is washing his sinning, lustful, selfish disciples feet. I try to be as humble as possible (please don't take that as self righteous as I'm a worse sinner than both the tax collector and Pharicee that were praying in the temple) but a lot of people will take advantage of you, but keep being humble knowing that the greater of the universe and His Son and Spirit are watching and will be the ultimate judge, so be humble. Leading people to the Lord Jesus Christ is following the Lord’s teachings and commandments- doing love and kindness to other people. Being the salt of the earth and light of this world, the Lord said “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works”. The people around who saw your deeds will praise and glorify God as a result (see Matthew 5:16). The Lord’s simple but very clear teaching.

A brief summary of the gospel of Christ is that it consists of things we must believe, commands that we must obey to be saved, and promises of God that we will receive after salvation. Salvation in Christ starts when one hears about what Jesus did for them on the cross and then believes in Jesus as Lord. Once a person believes in what Jesus has offered by way of salvation, they must realize their sin, repent of their sins, confess Him as Lord, get water baptized for the forgiveness of their sins, and live obediently to His commands. Here are a few verses that summarize the gospel of Christ. • The gospel must be preached for it is the power of God unto salvation (Mark 16 15; Romans 1 16). • Saving Faith is the direct result of instruction in God's word (John 6 44 and 45; Romans 10 17). • Saving Faith leads to repentance (Acts 2:36-38). • Repentance leads to salvation (2 Corinthians 7:9-10). • When one has repented of his sins and confessed his faith in Jesus (Acts 8:37, Romans 10 10), he is then water baptized into Christ (Romans 6:1-6). • This makes one a child of God (Galatians 3:26-27). Salvation is either conditional or unconditional. Salvation is an all-encompassing truth that includes all of these. There are 2 sides that we need to consider. God’s side(basis), and man's side(conditions). Understanding this concept makes all the difference in how we understand the bible. God’s side is the basis for our salvation and man’s side is the meeting of conditions set forth by God. There is the basis for our salvation and there are conditions to be met. • The basis of our salvation involves what God has done. • The conditions are what we must do to receive the free gift. • Neither excludes the necessity of the other.

1st Corinthians 15:1-4 is our gospel. It’s not possible to turn from every single sin. Jesus paid the price for all of our sins, past present and future. There’s a difference between forgiveness and salvation. Why ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins if he already did at the cross? Salvation comes when we BELIEVE in his death, burial and resurrection as written by Paul in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. Our gospel is not in Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John. Those books were written to the Jews. Paul’s books, Romans through Philemon are for this dispensation we live in now. The dispensation of grace. Truth Time Radio on the web and on KZbin is a great resource for learning how to rightly divide the word of truth.

I had opportunities to tell people about the gospel, but I end up getting nervous. When ever I usually do talk about it, its through making comments on youtube. So when it comes to being in person, I didn't know what to say and what I did know I was just to afraid to say it. Mostly because I was worried that I would be seen as weird, or that what I said would be offensive. I was never a really social person to those I don't know much about. You could probably say that I am an introvert. So the most I say to people when it comes to my faith is God bless. So thank you pastor for talking about this, it really helps. May all who don't know him have revelation about him; rather it be through thoughts, dreams, and especially through the gospel.
@theparadigmshift742 жыл бұрын
I understand this too, or i feel like people wont take it seriously or theyll be rude back to me. Theres different ways to reach people! Praying is usually a good way to open the door asking people if you can pray with them, or even just being a light for people , a helper or a comforter and when the conversation progresses tell them about Christ and God. Im still working on it, and i need alot of work.. it always starts with a conversation, if youre an introvert im assuming youre good at reading people, look for people who seem like they are in distress or have issues such as something you may be able to relate to and open the door for a conversation that bridges into a small relationship, once the relationship has been established then you can plant the seed of God in the heart by your example!

@Danny Saint well my friend. a repentent heart is required in order to believe. Also Peter tells us in acts what is required to be saved. "Repent and be baptised everyone of you for the forgiveness of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Paul tells us also in acts that we must show genuine repentence by acts of good works. But I agree. It's God who causes us to have those good works when we truly believe. Believing means we accept that Jesus Christ is our Lord and that God has all power and authority. We trust Him to guide us and direct our path and move us into holiness. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we learn obedience to do the will of God which is to become holy and love Him and our neighbor.

@Danny Saint a change of mind produces and change of action my friend. I Agee with you that God is the one who causes this to take place. Our good works are as filthy rags before God. But after God, (with Christ) our good works result in eternal life because God causes us to be born again through our faith

@Danny Saint I must correct you my brother on this you said about Acts, and how it's not our Gospel but only for thr nation of Israel. Please bear with me my brother. It is written "God once winked at our ignorance, but now commands all men everywhere to repent." And it is written in Acts 20:21 U have declared to both Jews and gentiles to turn to God in repentence and have faith in our Lord Jesus. And in verse 27 Paul writes "For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God."

@Danny Saint ask God to give you a humble heart first before calling everyone here a liar and deceiver...if we are saved and belong to Christ, we are all brothers..regardless of our past sins..everyone's a sinner, everyone's a liar, but that would change once you truly belong to Christ..
