Do you know what is more ancient than these chants? The Holy Scriptures which these merely echo in chanted Latin. I take joy in these songs of my brothers in Christ, but I put my faith in Christ Himself by way of those writings "out-breathed" by the Holy Spirit, not in any one accumulation of well-meaning tradition which came later. The Greeks, the Assyrians and Copts, the Ethiopians etc. all say the same thing. They, and they alone, are the ancient, original, sole, true Church of Jesus Christ and all based on... councils and decisions of fallible men over and above the Word of God. What, according to God in His Word, unites all true members of His Church? Those who entrust their eternal destiny to the salvation provided in Christ. But yes, only those who are also part of your club and follow its human declarations are the real Church because, after all, it's old... just like the Greeks, and the Assyrians, and... Why bring such sectarian division into this? Can we not simply meditate on music which praises the LORD and echoes His Word? I do not comment under a presentation of Amazing Grace to claim it for Protestants and Protestants alone. Let a blessing be a blessing, my brother.

The Church started right away, obeying the words of Jesus “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” (1 Co 11:24). Scripture has always been read at Mass, being an infallible source on God's Word. But we also need to obey Jesus' word in this section. John 6 is what made me come to the Catholic Church. Maybe OP had a bad intent in promoting the Church. But maybe he wants to share the Church and the Bread that are the basis of his spiritual life. I do hope protestanism disappears, I want you guys to have the gift of the Bread, I want christians reunited, and I love the faith and commitment of many protestants too much to not crave your thirst of God is satiated. I am a Catholic because I want to worship God the way he wants, I did not convert to dunk on anybody. As for the Orthodox churches, I hope those who still haven't come back do come back to the Church Jesus established on Peter, his Rock.

This is a true statement…please look it up…many people with cancer are healing with the elimination diet (carnivore diet) along with extended fasting. It causes ‘autophagy’, which allows the body to clean up damaged mitochondria cells, including cancer cells. Even those with late stage cancers are healing. Lord Jesus, I ask you to neutralize the hatred coming from my neighbors. I told them I smelled gas and it cost them money with a plumber to repair and the gas company had to come out. Now they hate me. They could have blown up their home and died with their beloved pets, but they're angry that I pointed the problem out. 🧐 They actually said they wish they would have ignored my text. "Sorry for saving your lives and your home and property, folks." I simply do not understand people! I can feel the hateful vibes coming from them. I love my home. Leggendo i commenti sono contenta che molti apprezzino. Ma noi italiani, paese della Cristianità, dove siamo? Questi canti sublimi dovrebbero far parte delle nostre giornate. Dove siete? Non confondere i dogmi della Chiesa con l'insegnamento di Gesù. Per me è quello il nostro faro e non dobbiamo allontanarci da Lui. Ve lo dico con tutto il cuore.

There is something truly special about Gregorian chant that never fails to lift up my spirit. The mesmerizing melodies and harmonies of these sacred songs have a way of transcending the earthly realm and connecting me to something greater. The simplicity and repetition of the chants allow for a deep meditative experience, allowing me to clear my mind and open my heart to the divine. It is so edifying to listen to these ancient hymns and feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over me. However, as someone from Africa, I often struggle with unstable internet connectivity, making it difficult to access these beautiful chants. I wish there was an option for offline download on KZbin or through the editor, as it would greatly enhance my spiritual practice and allow me to connect with these sacred songs even when I do not have access to the internet.
