It is. Primarily Catholic. Seems to be from the perspective of God watching Jesus coming into this world and having to be forced to learn to deal with your average person and their mortality as Jesus himself is given a mortal body. Jesus tries to do good, but ends up whipped and attacked for being different and non-selfish. He ends up later dying and God wants to punish humanity by declaring them all unforgiven, but despite this all Jesus convinces him not to as he wasn't even fazed by all the cruelty of humanity to change God's heart. Or something like that...
