For 2 month in use now. About 100 fills GK1 to 350bar, still working. Fan very loud. Tighten the hoses correctly and use correct seals. This was not very clear in description. No service instructions/intervalls. Happy until now, super happy with the GK1. we will see.....

I have this compressor in my radar for some time now but the main deterrent is the price... I believe is a bit just short of 1k€ and your 2 months of operation trials is not enough to fully evaluate its sturdiness... It could be nìce if you could have showed its internals... I mean, I believe it has a moisture trap but I'm not sure... In terms of performance it is fast enough for a single gun but to me it will be more important to see how fast it fills buddy bottles from 150->350 bars, because this is how I operate my guns, especially my GK1 v1 (1 carbon buddy bottle of 0.5L in my back pack is more than enough for short contryside escapes). It was nice seeing shooting your v3 slugs, you haven't made a video yet but as a feedback, from my side they shoot great from the pistol and also from LCS SK19. In relation to GK1, this was one of my best airgun purchases, I am absolutely happy with it at .22 with thousants of fired shots and no problems whatsoever. I fill to 250 bars and shoot one full mag down to 150 bar and then refill both air and ammo, this provides consistency. I've noticed that when the gun is filled to 300 bar it reduces its power and gradually increases until reaches max output power at 150 bar. So in short, this compressor has more capabilities than the guns require, thus there is no real need yet to invest on that.. at that price... just an honest opinion of mine... I'll wait

Hello Gregor, My name is Michael. I've purchased your Huben GK1 and I see that it is touchy with the ammo. What size, exactly, do I need for the .25 cal? The ones I have are a bit loose in their chambers and I've noticed the ammo wants to slip a bit, which leads to difficulties rotating the cylinder. I've read the advice it should be .254 sized, is that correct? I plan to purchase the correct mold for casting my own rounds, so please advise. Thank you, I enjoy the fit of it on my hand. Looking forwards to hearing from you soon. Good day.
@gregorkamensek39232 ай бұрын
Hi. .254 is too big for GK1. This size was good for old magazines in K1 rifle but newer magazines come with grooves (all GK1 pistols have this magazine as far as I know). These prefer around .252 size slugs. If you want to cast them and you want high weight (needs relatively high power setting) you can consider getting the mold I designed especially for K1 and GK1: www.mp-molds.com/product/642-mm-air-pellet-8-cavity-mold-version-3/ www.mp-molds.com/product/push-through-size-die/ - .252 (6.40 mm) BR, Gregor

When I see AEA, I tend to not touch it. I think it's wise for AEA to get their PCP's to work flawlessly instead of diving into the compressor "realm". In my believe, AEA wants too much of the market to fast. No oil means short life span . . . that's how simple it works.
@fizzleshizzle83142 ай бұрын
Why does it mean short life span? Perhaps they have new tech
@jbhk79772 ай бұрын
@@fizzleshizzle8314 Just common sense I would say. AEA PCP's are known for their low quality, leaks, blowing o-rings, jams etc. People started to accept this, but it's not normal. If the compresors are made with the same devotion, then I say nope.

Its all about their new line of airguns that use 480 bar filling pressure aea is targeting, insane power and many shot count. @gregorkamensek3923 is a dry air filter necessary or not? Without a dry air filter the guns air tank gets over time really wet inside.
@gregorkamensek3923Ай бұрын
I don't use it. As I said in the video, most efficient removal of air is condensation which almost every compressor have. But yes, you will still get some amount of moisture inside. Not that big of a deal especially if your tanks are not made of steel...

Hello Gregor, I also have gk1 and k1. And I’m using a vevor to fill mine. But it seems like aea is a bit faster to fill the gk1. But the temperature also increases faster. I stop my vevor around 42/43 degrees. I have the idea when you run higher temperatures you create more moisture. What are your thoughts regarding this? Always check out your k1 videos. Hope you keep make some more. Gr. Anton
@gregorkamensek39232 ай бұрын
Hi. Hm, I compared to my Vevor but AEA was slower in my case... Regarding heat, I also filled Mora with 1100 cc bottle few times. It took about 10 minutes and the temperature was manageable, I could still hold the cylinder on the compressor... I forgot the actual temperature. Considering that higher temperature with same relative humidity air has more (absolute) moisture inside, you could say that but in that case, the temperature difference between the compressed air and the cylinder and all hoses is higher, so more of that moisture should condense and stay there... So I am not sure if it is in fact worse...
@AntonVansteenis-ro7ez2 ай бұрын
Interesting that’s your vevor seems faster. Could be I need to open it up and clean it. Bin using it for year now and also fill my 2ltr bottle with it. Kind of abuse it🤣. But it take it very well.

@Gregorkamensek3923 The fill probe of my GK1 does not fit directly in the big ( gray) connector that is rated 7000psi provided with the compressor. Is that why you use a second hose with another connector? I was not able to connect it to a dry filter directly either, with any of the included connectors.
@gregorkamensek39232 ай бұрын
Hi. I noticed that the GK1 nipple is slightly longer and has thicker narrow part. I can't get the grey connector to on it either. But the one that Wolfiek provides is OK. That is why I used the additional hose in the video but the grey connector also has issues with some other nipples because it is to big in diameter... From what I understand, the compressor comes only with grey connector but Wolfiek provides you with this additional adapter because they realize that this will be an issue for many users... If you haven't bougth from them, then just but this adapter to solve the issue.

@@ivaylodimitrov6258 Ah, OK, then you just need to use the brass connector instead of the grey one. The brass connector can take up to 350 bars so no worries there.

@gregorkamensek3923 what is your opinion for this new .22 huben peanut slugs? They look very similar to your mold tool and altaroz slugs
@gregorkamensek39232 ай бұрын
They are high quality and have very good BC. I have tested them in old (LW barrel) and newer K1 (Chinese barrel) rifles. They tend to prefer LW barrel but new K1 rifles have new Huben barrels that are supposed to be much better, so I am waiting to receive those barrels to make final test and review... I also tested them in RTI RPB barrels and they are very accurate in them.

@@ThePredator2k The old one had problems with the ring that the ring where the ball bearings latch was too short. They fixed this with new version but apparently the sleeve (or the waist) is too big diameter and the ball bearing cannot move inward enough for "grey" connector to latch. @@walkwood92gt418 Hi. There are not square seals, all seals are standard (metric) o-rings you can buy anywhere. The shape of the TP is square but you put a standard o-ring there and it will adapt to the shape. But before you do that, check your pellet pusher position. It is possible that you have it too far out (pushing the pellet too much forward). In that case, it is possible that the o-ring of the pellet pusher comes on the TP position and you get blowback...
