I love how much QoL the guys are putting into this pack. It's a shame some things (like chisel & bits) are unportable to 1.7.10, but still, amazing how incredibly this pack keeps up and exceeds most new minecraft versions and packs :D

Latest version has littletiles, not chisel and bits but a good alternative.

The ore finding wand in INCREDIBLY useful, especially with the NEI prospecting additions, but it doesn't work in space. For instance, when you want to find diamonds you can get a piece of coal and put it in there to flag all coal veins AND diamond veins. You can find other veins with an ingot you get from small ores. Eg. an iron ingot will find you anything that has (specifically) iron in it. So at least chalcopyrite. Ingots won't find things that can be process into the ingot, only if they are named the same, eg. A tin ingot won't find the casserite in a mica vein, nor the cassiterite sands in a cassiterite sands vein, but will trigger specifically on the tin ore in an actual cassiterite vein. Another good use is when you go to the Twighlight Forest you can find your first thaumcraft crystal deposit by putting a cinnabar ore in it. It will find the redstone veins and the crystal veins. Then you can get an amber ore from the first one which will trigger only on the thaumcraft crystal veins. I've seen other creative uses for it, such as finding lootgames dungeons.

Just something I figured out today on that version: if you open the GUI for the GT machines and click on the GT Symbol, you can cycle through the circuits and don't have to have them in the Input. (It goes through bio circuit 1-24 and then through the normal ones , also 1-24). Also, clicking on it with a configured circuit, it sets it to that circuit

shift clicking brings up a "list" of circuits to choose from same as clicking 30 times for one specific circuit, except with less clicks

Oh wow, thank you all for sharing this. Must be the aforementioned "ghost circuits". Something I am very happy to see because all those circuits sitting around can mean the difference between progressing and not... Even though I used to pride myself in being able to remember the recipes for the different numbered circuits...

standardized fluid slizes just means that there are no more machines that "can only fit 750 mB fluid" and other oddball amounts lowest i've seen so far is 8000 mB on LV distillery

Vacuum freezer only did cells before, now does direct fluids Tinkers Bolts wouldn’t get the new stats if you changed the material used, now they do CAL-> circuit assembly line

you can easy just remove mob mods from gtnh, there is only few quests like kill this mob 100 times. But i rly don't know why you should, in early game you can just sleep every night except bloodmoons which only 5% chance.
