Gary is such an engaging interviewer - Greig has such a humble nature and Gary just has a way of celebrating all of his guests… lovely to watch.

This is like the most awkward first date ever.. and I love it. Greig seems like a super decent guy, and I love how he's just gone back home and gone back to normal. Awesome. Great work, Gary.

Ahhh, Greig gives a masterclass on how to be interviewed as a quintessentially Good Kiwi Bloke: "Yep, I did a thing. Was good. Sweet as." I really enjoyed watching this, Gary - thanks for doing these interviews.

Gary, great work with this interview! Greig is very much a 'man of few words'; I doubt any other interview could have come close. Congratulations to him on his finish; not only for his work on course but flying back & forth from NZ is no small feat and no small cost ;-)

Before Greig I had been waiting for a decade for a top-level long-distance orienteer to finally do Barkley: The skillset is simply perfect for that particular race, when you can be pretty sure not going to make a single significant navigation mistake, then the chances of finishing rises sharply.

Thanks so much Gary for tracking Greig down. He's such a typical kiwi bloke - fantastic hearing of his other adventures as well. I knew he was a big rogainer/ orienteer, but not about his adventure racing. As an aside - I was in Q'town for the millennium as well - celebrated New Year with a midnight swim out to the pontoon off the beach and can confirm that even in the middle of summer Lake Wakatipu is baltic. Don't recall the sunrise...
