Thank you all so much for nice comments, I'm glad you enjoy this song as much as I do. I would like to add, that I was like 14 when I made this video and also that english is not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes in the lyrics - looking back, I see that there might be errors in punctuation. Also unfortunately I'm unable to credit artworks used in this video, so I would like to give thanks to artists. Have a nice day!

I prefer Fish era. But Hogarth had (I don't follow them as much as before) a sublime voice, and Seasons end is a very good album. And Brave is my second favorite Marillion album, after Script for a jester's tear.

I didn't see your comment before I posted something almost exactly the same about Steve being up there with David, word for word. It doesn't matter if it's repeated though! It should be said over and over again. I found myself wondering many times whether the two of them have ever met and I searched online for clues. They have but my memory is so poor I cant remember much of what I learned. Steve commented on their encounter in an interview, I recall that much and he spoke positively of the experience. It would be interesting to know what Gilmour thought of Marillion. He must have heard their music and I'd like to think he enjoyed it and was happy that a band he influenced was taking an unfashionable stance in the early 80s. I hope he was moved by what he heard and saw it as a tribute of sorts. There are many parallels between Marillion and Floyd, musically and socially.

Went to his house and he put a Marillion cassette on, Script for a Jesters Tear. I sat there in absolute silence almost spell bound listening to it. Went and bought it for myself on vinyl. They opened with this at the Reading Festival, in '83(?). I had a bootleg cassette recording of their set from Tommy Vance's R1 Rock Show. I wonder how many people missed out on Marillion? I got turned onto them when Script first came out. I can only remember hearing Marillion on the radio just a handful of times. It wasn’t until Childhood was released. They played Incommunicado. It was late at night. Same DJ. That was back in the days when you called the station and got to talk to them for a request, but only after the phone rang for several minutes. WLVQ-FM 96 here in Columbus. Great memories 🤘

Friends when 15, mixed tape...

If memory serves, Pseudo Silk Kimono and Kayleigh both charted in the UK, and that was my first encounter with Marillion. I got a friend to do me a tape, and I gradually acquired their back catalogue. I never really gelled with their sound post-Fish, though.
