I know I'm probably gonna get hate for this, but I personally think Josh Kiszka's voice is better than Geddy Lee's voice. Geddy is a better musician overall, but when it comes to vocal abilities I personally prefer Josh's voice.
@higginsreport3 жыл бұрын
Amazingly though, Geddy Lee can still sing at 67 years old!
@damselflyable3 жыл бұрын
@@higginsreport I think Josh could be as well. You questioned whether he would still be singing like this at 40 but I know he does take care of his voice and has had proper vocal training so the techniques he uses are easy for him and don't strain his vocal chords. I really enjoyed your reaction thanks. 😁

Josh knows he has to maintain his instrument (vocal) and touring a lot post covid will be a bit tricky. I listened to all my GVF yesterday - just closed my eyes and let is wash over me - made me feel a whole lot better. I like music from all decades. Greta has been a gift to me in 2021.

I dont see the problem with them being compared to other artists. i mean, when you are compared to amazing legendary artists and so many of them at that, that means A) you sound awesome B) they cant pinpoint a single artist so that in itself means you are making the sound your own. Also, lets not forget that these guys are still SO young! give them 10 more years to mature and then lets see who they've become! If they sound this amazing now, who knows how great they can become.

You should watch their live performances of these songs. They're amazing live. The bassist plays keyboards and bass pedals just like John Paul Jones, amazing musician.

The blues had a baby and they called it rock n roll! All the greats stole from their hero’s. There hasn’t been anything in decades that breaks the mold and is truly original. What matters is has the artist brought a new interpretation to the music. The first time I heard Greta Van Fleet I thought they sounded like the chipmunks doing Led Zeppelin. I have since listened to their music more closely and I think they are exactly what rock needs to kick its ass into shape. Enough with the endless hip hop droning on about the hood none of us live in. These guys are very talented and they bring the songs that should blast them to super stardom!

The first time I've listened to this song, I've immediately thought of Rush/Geddy Lee!

I've been playing guitar for over 30 years and also love all the legends in Led Zeppelin, Rush, Queen etc...Greta Van Fleet is way more than just a Zeppelin sound alike band. Yes sure, a few tracks have familiar sounds of old, but why the F are people bitching????? I've been DYING for a band to hit the scene that actually play instruments, sing without auto tune, and write great shit. I'll take these guys ALL EFFIN DAY over the shit music put out by current shi*

I am surprised nobody sees the YES influence in their music as well.. Is it just me? GVF are just amazing...and if they sound like Page, Lee, Mercury better still. It just shows the amazing quality they possess. ❤️🙏

Sounding like great bands from 60-70-80s is coz they explored almost everything thus the fall of rock happened, but now one band is bringing all of that back in one package....... Wouldn't that need talent........and we are off cussing them for not being original, why? There is nothing new to rock remaining for most part its better to mash it up in a great package and enjoy🔥 But hey what do i know I'm Indian and 26 we recently started listening to rock in late 90s.😭

Only problem I have is if you watch the videos of them they are clearly trying to emulate led zeppelin. With the way he sings, and his gestures. Christ he even went and grabbed the tambourine while they did a big guitar solo. While I was watching them I couldn't think about anything else but this looks just like leds stairway to heaven performance. I like the song but I couldn't watch them live. It's one thing to take from other artists and mish mash and make it your own but I don't care what they say they are at least trying to copycat zeppelins stage presence.

I hear they are trying to distant themselves from Zep on the upcoming Album....We'll see? Thx for watching Daniel!
