its disrespectful to interrupt the song ... only few commentators of music knows that i guess.
@Yeedeed3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tadejau, thanks for your comment. I've addressed this a few times in my videos. I provide commentary and reactions to music. I don't make reaction videos to sit there and not say a word, which in my opinion is pointless, and i feel it is a waste of the viewer's time if i sit there with no actual input. The feedback to my reaction videos have been overwhelmingly positive, and if it was the opposite case, then yes I would make a change. If interested in listening to songs uninterrupted, I would suggest listening to the actual song itself on KZbin.
@Yeedeed3 жыл бұрын
Additionally in regards to disrespecting the artist, I make no money from these videos, all ad and view revenue go to the artists. It is the opposite, my videos directly monetarily help the artists.

Why do you keep telling these commentators this? This is a commentary. They have to break the song down to give their input. That’s why I’m here.

Yeah I love his newer stuff because he's choosing a different aspect of his voice to focus on. His range. While we had plenty of that in his earlier stuff, he's choosing to show it in these amazing little yodel runs that I'm obsessed with currently. Less use of the growl in these recent songs-which, don't get me wrong, I love an artist with an insane rock growl, but he's taken this sort of soft, uplifting indie nasal voice he's got ( which definitely reminds me of passenger) and given it a slight sparingly used rock punch, which is SO clever.

Sorry, last comment I Promise,... in this song, which means A Lot to The Peaceful Army, is the lyrics "walking across the land is The Peaceful Army joining the Band, walking hand in hand to an Anthem sung where they stand" It's Our Gift. We LOVE It Too... ask Any of us. Lol. Josh put those lyrics in for US to Hear .... it also carries over from the last Album... "Anthem of the Peaceful Army"... you have to pay close attention cause they Are So Clever & Talented that know things before they even produce them. So many songs from AOTPA are from when Josh & Jake (the Identical twins) were 15/16 yrs old,,, Sam & Daniel were 13/14 yrs old. They are Amazing. They were born to lead people to Peace, Love & Unity ✌🏼🤍🌍🎶 and they are doing it One song, One album, One Tour at a Time... slowly building their Army. 😊😌

Josh learned how to sing like that back when they started, because they used to play in a garage and in order to make his voice heard he trained his vocal cords to surpass the noise of the ambient (instruments) there is an interview where they explained it 😊

Hey there, me again... new follower, have been binging your reactions all night. Love watching someone else fall so lovingly into GVF open warm embrace of their music. It envelopes you like a favorite blanket or a really good hug, right?! I'm not sure if you know too much history of the guys, there is A Lot... too much to try to tell you in one response. I Absolutely love the fact that you caught onto the "dome" in the beginning of the video. Have you noticed that you are supposed to listen to the songs in order? They tell a story. This is a cinematic album, as Josh describes it (Jake says Orgasmic, lol) So if you listen to the album straight through you Will hear it. *also the "dome" is on the Cover of their last album AOTPA... crazy right?!? These guys are So Intuitive & Creative. Did you know "Heat Above" was written 5 yrs ago? Yeah, I know. "The Weight of Dreams" is a song they played on the past tour under the title "Black Flag Expedition"... you can see them perform it on the video from the Red Rocks concert... Jake, Jake, Jake... love that man. Sooo beyond talented. **also you were talking about Josh's voice... do you know when they started he had Never had a vocal lesson. His range went so high bcuz they practiced in their garage at home and the only way he could be loud enough so people to hear him, was to reach that range. Jake started playing as a child, never a lesson, self taught. He formed the band... Jake & Josh would grab Sam on the way into the house as he was coming home from school and would make him play bass for them. They had a different drummer then... but Daniel was always hanging around hoping he would get that chance & he Did (thank goodness 😉) They All play Multiple Instruments... did you know why Sam is on the organ he is playing bass with foot pedals.... It Is Amazing to watch. Just a bit of GVF history for you... you have probably heard some of it before. GVF's fan base is One of the Best... not just saying that bcuz I'm part of it, it's just true😊 You Have to See Them Live.... It is nothing short of a Spiritual Awakening of sorts. Going back to listen to the rest of your reaction to Heat Above... it is So Much Fun to watch you Discover how Truly Talented they are. They have worked Very Hard, they have went from riding in a small van with a U-Haul carrying the equipment hooked to the back... their manager drove them bcuz they were so young and from Such a Small Town. Josh explains it in the lyrics of "My Way, Soon" & "Tears of Rain". I hope you give AOTPA a chance... it is a Great Album, different, but still amazing. I could give you a list of my top 5 of the album, but I think you should listen and decide on your own. It's Nothing like TBAGG (I know, we laugh too) but it is a Fun rock n roll record. *did you know that Josh writes the lyrics After he hears the melody or when the full song is made... yup, right before he goes in to record his vocals he bangs out These lyrics. He is our Prophet & Poet & So in Tune with other Realms... it's genius to behold. ....1 more thing, the chanting in "Trip the Light Fantastic" is an Indian chant. A mix of Hinduism & Buddhism... Josh is Very Keen on All Spiritual planes. Sorry so long. 😊 ✌🏼🤍🌍🤝🏻🎶

@Yeedeed3 жыл бұрын
Sorry Paul, but I disagree with you. For my personal tastes, when I watch a reaction video, my primary desire is to see the reaction and commentary itself, listening to the song is the secondary desire. I personally believe any reactor who either talks over the entire song without stopping, or doesn't say a word until the song is over is taking the easy way out. I model my reaction style based on my favorite reactors (Key of Geebz, The Charismatic Voice, or Rebecca Vocal Athlete). Although I'm not as musically trained as they are, I think their format of pausing to provide the viewer an actual reaction and commentary is what the majority of people want to see. Based on the overwhelming positive feedback on my 540+ videos, I humbly would say most people agree, and that I'm on the right track.
@CC-gr7gf3 жыл бұрын
It’s best if you let the song play and comment at the end. Constantly interrupting the video ruins it. Geez
@Yeedeed3 жыл бұрын
I will never understand why someone watches a reaction and commentary video with this expectation. If you would like to hear the song without interruption, please watch the original video and support the band with a video view. When I began reacting to music, I emulated what I saw from all of my favorite reactors, who all do the same style of commentary. When I watch a reaction, I personally prefer to watch a reactor be actually engaged in a reaction, not taking the easy way out and only commenting at the end. I would respectfully dare to say the people who watch my videos share this same view, as the large majority of feedback on all of my videos since I started this channel have been positive.
