Hi Dylan ! The way jake plays it is just a string different his tuning is C# G# C# F# A# C# because on a recording where he’s playing chords up the neck he has a major chord shape right at the octave of the open tuning. And you did a B7 shape on the octave part. He did this because its much easier to do the pull offs playing up the neck also he does a pull off on that C# sharp octave chord from F to F# with his pinky on the F# string where middle finger is resting and after that chord he does that B chord in a B7 shape doing pull off with pinky right at the octave dots on the second string

Hey there! Yeah I figured he probably played it a different way which is why I mentioned that in the vid😂 I was already too far into things to change it though, and both ways work well in terms of hitting the right notes!

Thanks man! Honestly that’s totally fair, guitar lessons aren’t for everyone. Biggest reason I don’t do tabs is to avoid any form of lawsuit from the artist where they could otherwise be making money. Copyright is such a tricky realm with so many weird little pieces that I just try to avoid it entirely. If tabs aren’t working for ya the lesson will still be here. Cheers man!🤟
