I got SH'ed last summer at my former office job and the fact that no supervisor nor hypervisor accepted to vouch for me made me so angry and powerless (despite my frame and height) that once I got laid off, I decided to file. And a dozen of colleagues, past & present, have accepted to testify against the toxic, abusive and demeaning work environment for me. My lawsuit might happen come 2024 but my file is around 100 pages already. The degree of how traumatic working in this company during the pandemic fucks me up to this day and even if I'm happier & healthier and in a new position elsewhere, the sorrow and fury are still festering within my psyche 💔

I honestly had no idea how much of this crap was going on in certain industries particularly in tv and Hollywood. I worked in IT where this type of harassment is rare but nonetheless there is harassment in different other ways. But now I can see how human nature plays a big role and it happens quite a bit actually. I hope the cases of Harvey Weinstein, Roger Ailes and Bill O’Rilley will serve as an example for other people who consider sexual harrassment as it starts hapening less and less. While the harassment discussion is larger, basically everywhere where is power there is a potential for harassment and leaders need to get educated and to vouch against it.

Why disgusting? Gretchen waited & collected evidence when she would not "play the sexual favors game" to keep her job - she had the evidence because he kept lowering her status & role. It was a cat & mouse game, Roger Ailes believed Gretchen would eventually succomb to his power game. He fired her because she would not give him sex. There was a clear preponderabce of evidence that he kept demoting her because she said "no" & meant it. Even if she had provided him sexual favors - no guarantee she would have kept her job. Beforeany of you make anymore daft comments, WATCH THIS! Megyn Kelly plus her husband and 3 of the women portrayed in Bombshell watch it and give their responses... all say it was VERY on point, bar one or two scenes (one where a female exec tells Ailes she wouldn’t tear down the talent... oh she did!) and a small scene between Megyn and another victim. But they were UNANIMOUSLY big fans of the film and their portrayal, being brought to tears by the film. Go see the film. Gentlemen, women have faced and STILL face this sort of harrassment day in day out. It’ll be your daughters one day, if not already on the receiving end of sleazeball ‘superiors’ at work trying to get into their pants, with unsubtle threats against their careers if they do not comply, Or getting groped and grabbed at corporate functions, and sacked if they dare complain. So please sort your shit out now, whatever tf your dads taught you, can we PLEASE break the cucle NOW?? Raise your sons right! Be a good role model. Respect their mothers! Stop having double standards for your son’s behaviour and your daughters (stop fekking hi fiving them for having sex or multiple girlfriends!! Teach them DECENCY AND RESPECT.
