So many small furniture stores in southern Maine have the Adirondack chairs available right now! You and Max could take a day trip up to snag some, Maine is so cute this time of year! I know “Lowerys Lawn & patio furniture” has them!

Suggestions: I notice that you often state that the furniture won’t fit in your SUV witch will be be true for most things. However, maybe consider purchasing the furniture that you love asking them to hold it for 24hrs and you can rent a UHAL van (either their smaller van or their smallest moving truck) and you can rent it within an hour or spend the next day going from place to place picking up your items. Also, when you see a different color metal (and some wood colors) on a piece of furniture like the handles for example that you didn’t like you can always spray paint it (and paint or restain the wood on furniture. Please keep in mind their is always a solution to problems. Finally, I liIke the dresser maybe go online to see if they have the matching beside tables which will round out the set quit nicely!

Hey Gretchen, more often than not when people buy their first home it could be a few years before it’s fully furnished usually due to finances so don’t pressure yourself or over think 🩷 I would say just take it easy and take longer then maybe what you wanted initially when it came to furnishing, enjoy the ride ✨

LL Bean Adirondack chairs are the way to go- high quality and will last forever; and easy to put together. Pottery barn and crate & barrel have great classic, nautical furniture pieces. And wayfair is always great too for rugs, outdoor furniture, etc. We just bought a Weber grill at Home Depot

The drawers fit perfect in that corner. Thinking maybe you should rotate it on the other wall so it can be centered on the wall and not pushed in the corner because of the light switch. Just a thought!

@@Mollycat3557 you should really spread your message to the stores that allow any and almost all animals in these places to begin with and not critique Gretchen for doing what EVERYONE does. Whether a dog is big/small OR service dog or not a service dog, as long as it is well trained it shouldn’t be an issue. Also If a parent/child or person in general are afraid and/or allergic they should not be going to businesses or areas that allows animals in the first place if it was really such an issue.
