I got jealous watching this video because I'm going to be purchasing a Catalina Club Jazz Kit and really love/want the Satin White Chocolate skin. DW says that it's unavailable and that they have no records prior to their purchase of Gretsch in 2015. Was your kit a limited edition in that color? Is it for sale? My second color choice is the Gloss Crimson Burst, but I would have to refinish them in a nice satin sheen.

So i plan on buying one of the Catalina jazz kits ( but in walnut glaze). Before I buy it though, I'm going to sell my cheap pearl export series. I'm going to keep my cymbals/cymbal hardware, but sell everything else. Does that mean I'll have to buy a whole other chair, kick pedal, AND snare stand?

You are correct! This kit does not come with cymbals, cymbals stands, throne or kick pedal. In fact, the first thing I did was upgrade the kick drum heads and bought new snare wires. 6 months later I can honestly say I absolutely love this kit.

There were 2 boxes that were approximately 16x20 each.
