GREY HAIR USING WELLA T14 & 050

In this video I toned my hair using Wella T-14 and Wella 050 color additive and 20 volume developer. It turned out super cute and it was so easy!

If your hair after bleaching is an orange tone, you use wella T14 (blue base). If your hair is more of a yellow tone after bleaching, use wella T18 (purple/violet base). If you put T14 on yellow hair, it will turn slightly green.

@@trin5359 if your hair is a light pale level 9 or 10 with slightly green hues, wash your hair with very warm water and head and shoulder shampoo. Do this up to 5 times over the span of a few days. Then, depending on what tone you’re left with, go opposite on the color wheel to cancel out any unwanted tones.

@@artsyfartsystuff4277 that’s awesome! I’m happy for you. But color wheel wise, if your hair was truly yellow and you added T14 (blue base), it would have turned a tinge of green. But that’s really good it didn’t!

I told the Sallys worker I wanted white hair and she gave me the t14...I tried it and I'm grey....ehh. I guess I'll choose my own toner next time.

Maybe after a few washes the grey will tone down and it’ll be more white! Hair has to have like zero pigment left to even achieve silver/white/grey so it’s very hard to get even results doing it at home!

I don’t think it will. Toner just deposits color so it won’t take away the brassiness unless it’s lightened to level 9 or 10. I hope this helps! ☺️
