Most people don’t realize Hulk May have been grey but this was years before Fixit showed up. If I remember correctly this happens shortly after Banner & Hulk we’re separated & Rick Jones was a Hulk ( a real one not abomb) for a short while.

The way Todd McFarlane drew Grey Hulk was so primal and almost animalistic it really fit the character well considering how he is and this battle with Wolverine is just awesome I own the Comic Issue and everything

you forget to mention that in another mini-series between wolverine and the green hulk wolverine almost killed hulk. Edit: that was in the late 80s, it was earth-616. Most people forget that there is more between hulk and wolverine fighting each other than meets the eye.

Also this is when the utter Bullshit which is Wolvie being able to cut the Hulk & be able to pierce his skin/muscle first happened. Before this crap the Hulk has never been cut by any adamantium weapon. Hell may have never been cut during the whole Herb Trempe, Sal Buscema original savage Hulk days. Once he first became this grey Hulk that’s when this weakness of his emerged & it’s been with him ever since unfortunately!!!

Grey hulk always seemed to be on the weaker side.he was weaker than the green hulk seemly .and grey hulk seems to start the fights more green hulk or the hulk thats most of time there usually they bother him he doesnt go looking for trouble like grey hulk did here.

Grey Hulk isn't WAY weaker than the Savage Hulk. Grey Hulk/Mr. Fixit has about 75%-80% of Savage Hulk's strength.

Arent Joe Fixit and Gray Hulk like different incarnations? And I doubt Grey Hulk has that much strength... Savage Hulk can lift more than 100 tons

Savage Hulk Just a guess. Fixit is capable of dishing almost everything that the army can throw at him...almost.
