Could this be considered discrimination against the elderly? So how many young people are killed on NZ roads compared to elderly?

You mean elderly people I see more idiot younger people driving. We live on a main highway and the crazy speeds I see by motorcyclist and young people. I got rear ended by a young lad who was on his phone, he was in the wrong. I have had this teat last week, blood pressure was elevated and so my GP needs another test so I can pass. How many younger drivers know what their BP is. The memory test was funny as i turned the table on the nurse asking her some historical dates even asked her when the treaty was signed and by whom, she did not know. yes as you age the short-term memory is affected, I have a very good recall of things from years ago

If the cognitive test isn't mandatory for all over 80 year olds and GPs only use it on a discretionary basis, then it seems to me that this guy is making a problem where there isn't one.
