Excellent video. I replaced all the overgrown shrubs with small ones and flowers, cut back the lower branches on the trees, and installed flood lights. It was a huge job to do on all 3 acres. I took a chain saw cut off the lower limbs to about 8’, dragged the branches into the back, and when the pile was big enough I rented a chipper for the day. Since I have a gas fire place, I gave away all the firewood. The property looks like a park, the lawn is easier to cut and I have 360 degree visibility day & night now. Every door and first floor window is exposed with upgraded locks, and no where to hide now. We also have a huge German Shepard, and beware of dog signs.

Jonah Lewis I have a GSD puppy and she is lean, quick, and DOES NOT like anyone inside her perimeter that isn’t her family. She wouldn’t be easily lured by treats & bones. She wants blood. She’s barely 6 mos old and she’s incredible in her instincts & protective nature. I can see, though, how some very spoiled critters would be easy targets. I have a split entry. I place a 2 x 4 in front of the door and the center wall keeps it from being accessed. After a non family member discovered lock smith keys would not unlock the front door knob and broke one of them in the front door knob bought a pressure cuff to gain access through my garage. I then have to put down carpet tack board to keep the cuff from allowing someone from breaking into my garage. It will puncture the cuff. My other doors have the bars inside preventing any way to get in. Not as strong as the braces that holds a 2 x 4.

This is awesome. Most videos on the internet only talk about what guns to buy and it gets old. My family and I (wife and 3 kids) were burglarized a little over a year ago while we were sleeping. My dad was visiting and was sleeping downstairs and heard someone walking around, but thought it was me. Other than that, they were in and out without anyone really knowing. I do own a shotgun, pistol, and vast amounts of pepper spray, but they served no purpose in this situation. BZ Greyman!

So basically, homeowners should put some size 13 mud boots on the porch opposite the dirty XL dog food and water bowls, and then sprinkle the porch and walkway with some .45 ACP casings, and fling a paintbrush of red paint on the walls, walkway, and grass, out to the street, where you pour out the remaining red paint to indicate a point of final death. And that's not to mention the motion detector hooked up to the dog barking sounds from the indoor speaker, and a motion camera at the front door so you can post their reactions on KZbin. Great idea. Got it.

A reliable way to ensure the safety of your home is to install a security system. And if only one type of protection is used in an apartment - protection against penetration - then a security system in a private house can include various subsystems: monitoring access to the building, perimeter security, and interior security. I also use the smart home system, and indeed it was the most important decision in my life. I use security sensors, security cameras and smart locks on the doors.

I work in door to door security and a couple key points I wanna point out to aid this video to educate. 1. You can tell if they park in garage if there are tire marks leading up to ledge of garage/oil stains in driveway. 2. ADT signs easily give away the year of there system either saying it on the back of the sign or by the top of the plastic on top of the stick above the logo. Round= pre 2015 most likely a Honeywell system either phone line or 2g signal or block on top= over 2015-2017 dsc system 2g most likely or light blue adt sign= newest system most likely from the homeowner who lives there and is still active and monitored

I know this is a few years old but after watching part one had to put in my 2 cents. First - locks only keep honest people out. Second - you can never be 100% assured of anything. Third - I refuse to live in prison so the bad people won't bother me. If you break into my home while I'm away you will get to take some (or all) of my stuff. If you mess up and come in when I am at home you will have to ask Mr. Glock for permission first.
