Couple of places to poke someone in self-defense would be the eye sockets... There's also a pressure point right under the side of the jaw.. I learned this from a police officer friend of mine years ago who showed me how to use a pen to disable someone.. my jaw hurt for like 4 days some type of a pressure point nerve under there.. you can still use your finger but it's easier using a pen or instrument to get to that spot under the jaw

I've been carrying the stainless one everyday for about a year a half and love it and well worth the money , it's a great alternative to all those expensive tactical pens.

The way I look at it is having a tactical EDC that just so happens to write. Other than that you would just get disappointed with the ink durability. At work I tend to put my disposable pilot pen next to the tactical pen so it blends in.

Actually, any ball point pen will easily puncture an eye, carotid artery, windpipe, esophagus, etc. It will do injury through light clothing to groin or solar plexus. Similarly, a common wooden pencil will do disabling damage to the face and neck areas. A wooden dowel of 3/8” diameter and 6” length, held in your fist with short ends protruding from each side, does disabling damage when round-housed across a face, jammed into a groin, solar plexus, throat, or face. The clips on these are tanks though lol. I use my pen all day, every day, and I do not baby it at all, I beat the ever loving crap out of it. It's been through some things that are generally unreasonable, like opening a paint can and nothing is wrong with it. And I do own the stainless, but I do have the copper, but I don't use it as unreasonably. The stainless though is a tank in my experience. I do not condone doing half the things I do with mine but it is more that good enough for most and it is reasonably priced for what it is.

All three pens will punch holes in a human body just fine. Get aluminum if you write often because it is the lightest. Get the stainless steel if you want the best pen for breaking windows. Get the titanium if you want something in between that will never rust and will outlast your grandchildren.

@@SurvivalOnPurpose Check out the new Olight Pen Pro - it's lighter and the light has been moved to the pocket clip, which allows you to wear the pen inside your pocket but the light is facing outward since it's on the clip now. It also has a green laser, in addition to the regular light.

The stainless has the weight, which would help in force multiplying. The others don't weigh much, so you have to do the work. In my experience, stainless is underrated. Titanium gets a lot of hype. Although it is strong for low weight, steel is much stronger at a higher weight.
