So, there are a lot of references in the lyrics to actual criticism that Seventeen has gotten and actual struggles that they went through - "built a building from our basement" is literal, they practiced and debuted from a green basement in their (basically bankrupt) company - "too many mouths, what do we do for food," there are 13 members and people made fun of how many people they had to feed so this was a pretty literal song, people really didn't they would make it far but they did so ❤❤❤

Seventeen are 13 with 3 subunit: hip hop, vocals, performance so 13 (the members) + 3 (subunit) + 1 (one team) = Seventeen they have 3 leaders S.Coup the leader of the hip hop unit he was the first guy in red that appeared in the video Hoshi (the butt bam guy) is the performance leader. (Hoshi in his dances love to try different styles even femminine ones) and Woozi the leader of the vocal team. he was the guy with pink and brown hair basically this song talk about how they’re successful now, starting from zero, they’re a self produced band and no one really believed in them just because they were so many in the band.. but now along with BTS they’re one of the biggest kpop group in the world

Yes. Seventeen are mostly pop, and the theatre kids of KPop (their dancing is insane). But as someone else said in the comments: they’re bound to have a couple songs for you too (for everyone).

The Felix part you were thinking of is from Case 143 👍 The first guy is S.Coups he's the leader of all of Seventeen, the blonde guy who does the butt dance is Hoshi and I've been describing him as sassy since I found them. He's the dance leader and what a dancer he is. The third guy is Woozi he is their main producer and song writer, he's won awards on his own. Don't quote me on my accuracy here I'm not that knowledgeable on these guys. Their songs do lean toward pop but I think you'll still enjoy their rapping and beats 👍 one of my faves I'll recommend is Left and right 🤣😁🤘😎🤘

There was a korean reaction to cheers they explained that buck is 100. so it can translate that they dont care 100% and it’s also connected to the next line which is “Increasing digits crashing waterfalls”. increasing digits means more money and if you throw money it’s like a waterfall and waterfalls dont end they keep flowing. so they give buck 3 meanings 1. it sounds like f 2. 100 3. money i initially thought it was only because it sounded like f but knowing svt they always have reasons why they use certain words. 😂

So here's the thing. Seventeen has 13 members + 3 units + 1 group as a whole = Seventeen 3 units are - Hip-hop unit, Vocal unit, Performance unit Each unit works as per it's name Hiphop unit works on raps of their own, Vocal unit works on lyrics and Performance unit works on their choreographies ( Yes, they make their own choreography) Tho their responsibility are not limited to their units... All of them work together to make a song starting from composition, production, lyrics, direction, and their choreographies. Some of seventeen music videos are also directed and edited by the one of their member. All in all SEVENTEEN IS AN ALL ROUNDER GROUP. Their fandom name is CARAT.

If you want more songs like this one by seventeen I would suggest HOT, DON QUIXOTE, March, Shadow, Ash (hip hop unit), Fear, HIT, 24H (Japanese) and CLAP. These are more of their songs that have pretty hard noisy backtracks. If you want more fun pop happy songs then I would suggest Happy Ending (Japanese), Snap Shoot, Left & Right, Holiday, My My, HOME;RUN, VERY NICE, and _WORLD. They do a lot of ballads or love songs as well that are really good.

There are 13 members in Seventeen (9 korean, 2 american, 2 chinese) and divided into 3 units (hiphop, performance and vocal). The first guy, Scoups is the general + hiphop unit leader. The second guy, Hoshu is the performance unit leader. And the third guy is the vocal unit leader as well as main lyricist, producer and composer for all Seventeen songs. All the members also participate in making songs and choreography. They've known as the king of synchronization and stable vocal despite the hard choreography. All 13 members are all rounder (singing, dancing, rapping), my theatrical kids, comedians disguised as idols. I might be a month late to saying this... I am a Stay and Carat (SVT's fandom name), I personally love SVT's discography.. If U like more Rap related music U should definitely check out the hiphop unit's (the rap unit of SVT even though all of them can rap, sing and dance) songs like Un Haeng Il Chi, Lotto Hiphop unit remix MY PERSONAL FAV ! , Back it up etc.. They are all rap based songs.. SVT is dubbed as the Theatre Kids of Kpop and the Peformance Powerhouse of Kpop for thier dance.. There is no other grp that is as synchronised a SVT mind it I am saying this as a Stay as well.. Everyone in Kpop agrees this and decidedly so. Love your reaction btw..

SVT do does a lot of happy energetic pop most of the times, but every comeback, every album, every song, always different, they try a lot of different genres a lot, that's why always funny when they do like hiphop or dark concept and new fans see that, like that, and then check another song expecting more of that and getting something completely different, tho some people don't like that that much, but most enjoy the changes
