@@da-wz7cr I know exactly what you're trying to say. DJ Khaled does this. Except that DJ Khaled starts the process a lot deeper. This guy literally didn't do anything on the song. It already existed before him and even now nothing is different, except the beat switch, which also wasn't made by him. Literally the only ''DJ'' who does something like this is DJ Khaled and barely anybody respects him. You're talking about super old DJ practices, where DJs had unkown artists on their songs and would use their own name to push the song. That is not the case here, DJ Geek has no name and no promo power. We are talking about a song with Dafina Zeqiri and MC Kresha, where exactly does the name ''DJ Geek'' help with promotion here? Hell, anything with ''DJ Geek'' gets realeased on Dafinas channel, because the channel he had before they got together is a joke. There is no marketing/promo power in his name and you know this. His name started popping up in the past year or so and you can check out the songs credits and see that he in fact did not do anything. For this guy to put his name in front of the song and clap his hands to start the show is comical. It just goes to show the power Dafina had in this situation. DJ Geek just has a rich family, that's literally it.

DJ Geek didn't even produce it, he just slaps his name on there, like a discounter DJ Khaled. If you go to the original song, you'll see that the song was in fact not produced by DJ Geek. I don't trust that guy with anything. Go to any of ''his'' songs and what you'll find in the description is something like Executive producer: Dj Geek Produced, mixed and master: Deard Sylejmani Beat by : DVX (Deniz Voca), RUZBEATS Music and Melody: SEMI Lyrics: SEMI And the video starts with him acting like he's playing the melody, which 1. wasn't even made by him and 2. he plays it as if it was keys, despite it being strings. Hell, in the song Tduh-duh with Dafina he's listed as a feature in the title, but isn't even listed anywhere in the credits, he's literally just in the video and has probably helped his girlfriend with the song a bit. Hell, I don't even mind this as its just him helping her do the song and then just being listed as a feature, but slapping his name on songs as if he made them is truly silly. Quite frankly he just buys his way with everything and slaps his name on it or his name just gets carried by Dafina, despite him not doing anything at all. The end result is people watching this and thinking this is DJ Geeks song. Can't blame them, even you said ''DJ Geek is hitting on something from the early 2000s with this one'' as if he made the song. Absolutely insane that the video starts with him clapping his hands to start the show. Goes to show the power Dafina Zeqiri had here.

I believe you found the EXACT comparison. DJ Khaled puts ideas together, brings artists together, suggestions, etc. This is an executive producer role. The “DJ Khaled feat…” title is a stretch indeed. Truly a marketing thing. You have a point with what’s happening here. It’s a shame beat makers are in the shadows. Even if the greatest artists of all time came together for a song, the song is trash with a trash beat. I’m sure DJ Geek made a contribution, but a MAJOR STAR here (Alandy) was used as a mere extra in the video. Upsetting to see :/
