I was born and living in Tirana. At the time war broke down i was 10 years old. We had many kids in my school from Kosova (Dardania), which came during war. I remember one of them had lost his father, but couldn’t realise his saddness until later. I thank all the people who gave their lives for their country. 🙏🏼

Shkurte Fejza is a folk singer she sings always about warriors, heroes, Albania, Kosovo and their beauties depicting cultural and natural features! This song dates back since the 2000s, l can not remember the exact year! But it was a studio recorded song without videoclip so in 2020 she made the videoclip! Some general informations: Shkurte Fejza has been singing since 1974 and is considered as Albanian Queen of Folkloric and Patriotic songs! Her songs have been covered the most by Albanian artists especially Mora Fjale, Thrret Prizreni mori Shkoder and Xhamadani Vija - vija ( the original title Kam nje lot m’pikon si ar) the last song is the most covered Albanian song and definitely an unofficial Albanian anthem. Kosovo's real name is Dardania. Dardania and northern Albania that is from Tirana to Montenegro speak the GEG dialect. from Tirana down to Turkey the Tosc dialect is called. the two dialects Tosk and GEG are the basis of all the Indo-European languages. Italy still speaks Albanian today as well as Greek. ancient Greek is none other than Albanian. also Scotland was called Alba, as well as Great Britain which means the ribs shows memories adam and eve. the truth is how the water comes slowly but cannot be stopped.

Thank you Teddy! Adem Jashari is a living hero who sacrificed his whole family for freedom. The Serbs call him a terrorist only because he fought against the fascist regime, against the injustices that were done to us. In fact, they are the ones who have terrorized the Albanian people for centuries. They are the ones who have killed women and children, including the Jashari where family where of fifty-eight bodies later buried, eighteen were women and ten were children,sixteen years old or younger. Only Besarta, a 10-year-old girl, survived in that massacre 😥

This song always makes me so emotional and brings tear to my eyes , it's so soft , like mother Kosovo is singing for it's heroes with love and pain. Also if NATO wouldn't have been involved then Albania would have , but we were pretty weak back then just came out of a civil war , the goverment had no control on some cities in Albania bcs of pyramyd schem,es from the goverment and people loosing everything in that, pretty unstable, and would've started another Balkan War , and many more lives would be lost , also Russia was helping serbs , and backing Milloshevic , there is a great interview of the NATO general Westley Clark , about what happened , and Milloshevic telling NATO like a mafia boss that there was nothing happening there and they couldn't do anything about it , it took 3 months of NATO bombardmend to Serbia to stop the war , too many people would've died and whole country destryed if they wouldn't intervene. Don't forget that Serbia is a military powerhouse in the balkans , other countries are not since they don't care about expanding territories , while they are always provoking Kosovo and Bosnia up to this day . So we need our allies since we cannot afford to have big armies

I don't know how I missed this great song with your reaction. She is a very popular singer in Kosovo and most of her song are about patriotism. Dear Teddy Greay, Adem Jashari and his family they weren't slaughtered, all his family fought against the Serbian Soldiers, from the youngest who was 13 years old till the oldest in the house who was Adem's father, kids in the family for three days straight helped the adults with monitions under heavy siege, all of them died fighting, till their last breath, one daughter of Adem who was very young she was alive during three day battle, one son also is alive and one brother of Adem Jashari who wasn't home. Their story it is very interesting how brave that entire family was. Adem's action make him and his family a Legendary Hero of Kosova, and Albania. @teddy Drenica is a region ( comes apparently from a Christian Albanian “Ndre Nika” it’s been said . Back then, the entire population was Christian not just a few. The ancient churches are proof )and it’s called Red ( bloody ) Drenica , as historically the people there never stopped fighting for their freedom , be it vs ottomans , Russians ( Serbs ) or other enemies …until they were dead .
