I love watch new Play because who would have thought somebody playing traditional drumming to Buddy Rich would come into playing heavy metal to sepultura. But like you Derek rowdy proves that metal drummers have to have a basis just like Joey jordison playing jazz. Drumming is drumming no matter what the genre...
