The season ending early actually explains alot of things in the server that we should have expected. The 1.18 update creates drastic changes to world generation, which is why Xisuma made the hard decision to call the season short although 6 months is only about 30% of a normal season’s duration. All the hermits were given a month’s notice, and that is when the Moon lore started. All the conflicts that should’ve happened couldn’t happen, like the Boatem vs. Big Eye Crew war. Grian really intended to build a messenging system to Mumbo as he’s always planned every season, but he had to cancel it without telling us the reason that we now know today: he won’t have time to make a fully functional system. I do believe he would’ve finished the bank’s interior and back too, but the same reason cut him short. Overall, I think when Xisuma created the Season 8 server, he really wanted the 1.18 update, but Mojang only released the smaller half of it which is 1.17. He probably knew this season wouldn’t last long. Anyway I can’t wait for the wonders of Season 9, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 🎉 🎊!

I got to know Hermicraft at the end of season 7, and season 8 is truly such a magnificent and nostalgic one for me. I cannot believe how much of a big part the hermits have been in my childhood. Season 10 has started now and for whatever reason, this is the 4th time I'm watching this. Thank you Hermits ♥️
