Loved your recipe, chicken and rice never gets old for me, especially when nothing is fried.. The only change I will make is sautéing the onion and garlic first and then put it on the bake pan, I m always on the run so it would be faster for me. Thank you!! Blessings!!

Very tasty! I doubled the rice and added a can of cream of mushroom, turned out very good. This reminds me of a spicier version of my mothers recipe from when I was a kid.

I made this today as you directed yessir!! It’s good. I just used water though didn’t have chicken broth 😩and I marinated the chicken in Worcestershire sauce with the seasoning you used didn’t have thyme though 😩 still was delicious!

If you don't have chicken broth try to keep on hand some chicken bouillon cubes or powder. It's cheap but really great flavor especially the Maggai chicken bouillon powder. Good replacement for liquid broth and adds flavor to different dishes.

Listen Fam!!!! I just made this chicken and rice for Sunday dinner and as my picky eater son said this is bussin x3. I originally was going to do your turkey wing recipe. I went to the store and they wanted $9 for 4 turkey wings and it wasn't even the whole wings it was just the flats and I said hell to the naw naw nawl!!! So I bought a cut up chicken so I said let me see if he has a chicken and rice video so glad you did yes sir!!! Please keep it up well done!!!!!!

Good show! Does that vegetable oil trick work better than bumping it up to 425 for the final 5 minutes, maybe give that top layer of rice a little crisp while you're at it? Ooh, what if you lined up some bacon over that rice to cook at 425 for the finale. I would have to see if that would work. Don't wanna mess with perfection but I've never been to a party that the bacon wasn't welcome. I'm about to dial this up right now. Thanks again

I never used broth unless it was thanks giving. I liked the natural flavor of the boiled (well- done) chicken. Then I would add my rice. Or I would bake the chicken and add cooked rice to the juices in the pan. I will try this also though.

this some rich eating indeed sir, this takes me back to the early 1980s. and i was with some other real ghetto youth about eating habits. and i know poor and i said chicken skins as a meal it was agreed so it go. then i was told about chicken chassis which was a revelation to me at the time. and coming from london those are some very desireble waste cuts for sure :-)
