Grid Legends VR on Meta Quest was ABANDONED by EA

Downtown Club developer here, thanks a lot for the mention! I actually played GRID for quite some time after launch, it's not a bad game and I always liked the series. With Downtown Club I'm taking a somewhat different direction, and it's worth mentioning the game will be much smaller in content. Our team and budget is just microscopic in comparison. 😅

Man I actually really liked grid legends and deep down I hope they come back to optimise it for Q3. It really feels like it doesn't push the hardware at all compared to q2.

A Q3 update for Grid Legends would be godsent, as even with its drawbacks it's still a fun game offline. With the in-game toggle pushing the resolution to 125% at 75Hz or, with QGO you can achieve a 183% resolution increase at 75Hz with almost no issues, the headroom for a Q3 update is available. The groundwork is there now EA needs to focus on improving it through updates, and EA plz 😭

I must say, i like the game on Quest 3... Sound, Physics and content are great and aslo the Graphics on this mobile platform are fine for me AND Grid legends has Motion controls, but they are hideing in the control setings! And the motion controls works very well, try it out, its a complete different expirance. The only big downside for me is that's multiplayer is not working anymore...

Maxed graphics and frame rate on Q3 was a good enough fix for me. If it was multi I would’ve been satisfied. Great vid

This could be a gamechanger if they made it working....... but now it doesn't even start. I wish they made the PC and PS5 versions VR compatible, that would be AMAZING!!!!!

I been waiting for a PCVR version as I'm pretty sure they still make the VR mode for the F1 series. Such a great game just in need of more love

Although the game had issues, I really loved this game and this is the game that made me buy a full Sim rig and then better PC to be able to pay PCVR racing titles such as AC, ACC, AMS2, Dirt Rally and many more.

I'm very disappointed by this situation as racing in VR can be fantastic. if the game got a huge discount, I'd probably still try it out just for the single player.

Even with how bad the game looked and ran with Q2 I found the campaign to be enjoyable. It's corny and predictable for what's going to happen, but it works. I've never regretted getting Grid Legends, but it has the potential to turn an okay game into a great one. With Quest game referrals you can already get a decent 25% discount, (self-plug) like mine in the description. The lowest discount the game got was 38% off during a sale long ago, not long after its release. EA would probably sell it for less, EA just forgot about it.

I Dont know why they did not do a pc vr version. Graphics are dreadful on meta, meta is not meant for this type of graphically demanding game.

I don't have VR but I do have TrackIR which says Grid Legends supports TraCKIR but it's NOT TRUE...at least not anymore! *And the multiplayer servers seem dead!*
