I don't think they can fix it, most of us expected new systems to be made...manual reloading, the abilities to interact with objects, climb ladders, etc! Basically what a built from the ground up for VR game is like and not a flatscreen game just quickly made into vr...and the graphics, like jesus! Why does it have to be this way, red matter came out in 2018 and looks stunning! Red matter 2 came out in 2022 and looks even more stunning...I could list off 25+ games that came out years ago that most of us would consider top notch standalone games that put this to shame! There is zero reason as too why an exclusive game that was meant to be a standalone vr AAA title looks like this! This is laughably bad! I was really looking forward to this btw! I talked about it several times at work with the guys before it launched. I was expecting RE-4 treatment, somehow what we got seams worse than the pcvr port!

We don't care about the number of npcs, this is 2024, we expect big budget games to come with high end graphics, especially when they are exclusive to the quest 3. This game is a missed opportunity.

High end grapichs on standalones is impossible for now. Remember to even run most pcvr games you need to crap minimal a 3060 and i5 in a headset for even get remotely close

@@spidermonkeynr1 We have the likes of red matter 2, and by the looks of it batman. Assassin's creed and Asgard's wrath looked fine too even on quest 2. This is the level i am expecting, of course standalone has it's limitations, but right now we have yet to see games which actually take advantage of the additionnal power the Quest 3 can deliver. Hardware wise it's twice as powerful as the quest 2, it's definetly a big leap forward. The fact that quest 2 is still the most popular is not really helping though, most games are primarly built for it right now. Batman will be the first game truly optimised for the quest 3.

With IO Interactive at the wheel, Hitman looks more promising than what we had with XR Games with the Quest port. Granted IO released the same broken PCVR version, hopefully, PSVR2 users get treated right.

dude, this game actually got me back into playing it on PC. I wish they would implement some of the changes on the PC version like putting items in your arms instead of your chest. Taking the body away. And letting you hold guns in both hands. This game is very fun to play in arcade style. If you’re not, too sensitive about it. I had a blast. And I bought it after the bad reviews. I don’t regret it.

The left side is prepatch, and the right is the day 4 patch. I uploaded the video half asleep.

They could do better and make the pc version compatible with quest 3, that focv issues are gamebreaker any vr versions of hitman are really playable

I think it’s like Borderlands 2 on PS Vita, in the sense that I prefer at least having the option to play it on mobile, rather than not having the option at all… However, the marketing about being built from the ground up for VR is some early NMS Sean Murray type shit

The PSVR2 version of Hitman is made IOI interactive instead of third party studio like XR Games. But, IOI also released Hitman VR on PCVR broken. Who knows if this is another stinker. XR Games is coming out with Zombie Army VR, and initial impressions was pretty bad. Hopefully, Hitman on Quest keeps improving, but like you I wouldn't count on it.

I don't mind the graphics. Just make sure it's polished! Cut bots or add loading gates. I got this only because I'm a huge hm fan, and this was going to be my first hmvr exam. I feel like the day 4 patch was a scam to give players hope and extend them past their 2hr return windrow

they should decrease the population by 25 percent of npc and use that memory to make foliage and trees better. and the overall graphics a tad bit better. get rid of bulk meshes and decrease the amount of enviromental assets like drinks and pictures on walls to free up memory . they need to really have better focus on pop in and LODS transitions

They should’ve took their time on this. It only took him five months and this is what we get. We should’ve got a lot more than this. I was expecting a little bit more, but I’ll give the scale of seven out of 10. I just don’t like the cartoon effects the cartoon graphics. Everything else is all right.

I refunded. It crashed on first load with a black screen and just got worse on the tutorial level. I don't mind the cell shading but really needed lighting and shadows to pull it off. I doubt anything they do can fix it. I think will try the PCVR version.

Meta bought Exclusive rights But ended up making it worst And keep in mind the og hitman vr Already had issue Damn it Sony why could they not buy the right to it first and fix the issue That it had on ps4 Cuz hitman in vr is such a amazing idea But its been done half ass 😡

Played this on the quest 2, it ran ok TBH, had a few artifacts but was playable. Found it pretty bland and boring.
