+DST Acee At the moment it’s just a few extra cars, with more coming in the 3 seasons included in the UE. All the new tracks they include should be free. At least, that’s what the director told us! The cars you get so help you at the start, though.

Im still waiting for them to recreate the magic of race driver grid. Everything was just nicely balanced in that one especially the AI it wasnt kamikaze like in grid autosport my god the AI there is just silly lol. Actually had a nice structured campaign building team and customising you cars somewhat. Doesn’t promote clean driving. Dont know how this one is AI wise hope it’s nothing like grid autosport

Depends what you’re looking for. Both are great but full different slots. The switch game is one of few authentic “sim like” racers on the console, but the visual fidelity of the new grid is phenomenal.

A little bit pricey for the amount of content it offers. Like any other Codemasters games it will get a ton of paid dlc's.

What about the lack of tracks compared to previous GRID titles, there is only 2 open wheelers in the game, no drifting in the game and the damage model (which was a highlight of the original GRID) just doesn't seem right, you can smash an open wheeler sideways into a wall and simply drive away unscathed. Also the career mode compared to previous Codemasters titles is very bland. Not too sure it is really worth $60. But everyone is entitled to have their own opinion.

tnykell Free DLC tracks. And you need to understand that there are fewer tracks, but they include MANY different times and weather conditions. Which is more than what could be said for any other GRID game. Few games even have the quality of damage model GRID has at the moment. All I’ve done is played around in SP and I’m having an absolute ball just going around test driving cars in different conditions.

tnykell It’s not an opinion. It’s a fact. The reason why there are fewer release tracks is because time of day and rain have been added. And it’s a FACT that many more tracks will be added post-release for free. If you feel the tradeoff wasn’t good, then that’s ok. But what I said was in no way opinion.

For some reason I didn't like the handling in this game it felt weighty and very slide prone unsurprisingly much like codemasters other games. All of this is odd because usually with arcade leaning racers I feel they are very nimble and almost twitchy which I personally enjoy.

i really wanted this game to succeed because i wanted to get it for the multiplayer. couldn't care less about the single player. but seems like it kinda flopped and the MP was DOA...
