One of the advertising points for this is the fact that it is apparently easy to clean. But looking at it, it doesn't seem like the heating surface can be dismounted from the setup so it appears that you need to carry the whole thing to the sink and maneuver it which probably wont be very easy. Unless there's an easier way to clean it. Thanks for the review

I just unplug, and yes I just angle it in sink and rinse it off, it does clean up easy… Do NOT, nor is it required to submerge in sink or soak.. I just use a sponge or dish cloth with some running water and a bit of dish soap.

You can use metal flippers on it according to Google

Possibly, it’s a pretty tough surface... I have used a lot since I posted vid....happy with it... thanks for the comment!

Hi, I am also looking to buy one and found the starfrit at cayene’s for 69.99$ . They always have good prices there. I’m debating between this one or the broil king, which has great reviews and similar size but much more expensive. Thanks for the review

dora g can’t comment on the broil king, but I’m still happy with this one.. still working fine! Use it a lot.
