My heart and soul with prayers sent to you and your family my friend. I am sorry. God knows this has been rough for you brother as I've a similar last few years. I cannot imagine losing my parents but that's a reality of a day I will bear one day. They are in 70s. I am usually the one with worse health. Anyway I know this hurt especially with the family loss. When Annie passed , You know I was lost for 4 years. I'm just now able to look at vids of her. My aunt passing was hard but it also meant my parents got their life back. Hell she was 95 and she finally went home. I pray for you all my friend. I'm sorry I suck at condolences but I hope you are ok and I know the music will be there for you like it is for me. Take time FOR YOU. This is what I need to remember. Much love brother.

I'm so sorry to hear this Ben. I know how hard it can be losing a parent, add to that, losing Buck too, and it has to have been devastating for you. I agree about the music side of grief, I have found that grief seems to come and go in waves and sometimes it comes with a need to be comforted by the familiar, and other times it needs to be expressed in creativity. One thing you will probably go through is a feeling of guilt for thinking that you aren't grieving enough, or that you find yourself missing Buck more than your mother at times. That is only natural and unsurprising as you would have spent more time with Buck in recent years. Don't feel guilty about it, it is just a part of the grieving process. Losing your father in the not too distant past will have given you an idea of grief and what it does, but circumstances were different back then and the grief will be different this time around, so don't expect to feel exactly the same or feel guilt because you don't. Remember to share lots of great and/or funny memories will the people that have shared them with you, it is the best medicine in my experience. I'm not a religious person in the slightest, but if there is a heaven, I believe it exists in the memories of those left behind. Take your time with your channel and don't feel like you are letting anyone down by not uploading, anyone that matters will still be here, I know I will be. - Colin
