The league we killed was probably clones from braniac and thats why flash had his thumb later in the game, the GL ring acted differently, and superman reacted to kryptonite strangely. The game has already been datamined during the beta (I think) and it seems like they're reviving every member of the Justice League starting with the Flash. They knew beforehand that nobody would like this but did it anyway for rage bait. I guess they intended to end the story at square 0, meaning that disrespecting the characters was completely pointless. "Oh no guys it's all good see, since we reversed everything so there's no reason to be mad/upset."

They could’ve had a Suicide Squad game that just faced them off against some other random enemy pulled out of the canon that didn’t need to involve the other heroes. I dont mind the game involving heroes, it wasn't bad in Arkham Knight when you play as Harley Quinn beating up Nightwing its just excepted to run into to them from time to time, playing as the villain for once and seeing what it's like to face the heros is an interesting concept. But this game poorly executed that idea. But to go all out to actually kill The Justice League is just a terrible idea unless this game was in the same universe as Injustice Series.

This game just makes me want to instead go back and play Arkham Knight, which I have been and the game holds up really well. Hell, I'm even tempted to instead buy Gotham Knights because it's $14 right now. What a downfall, it competes with BioWare's downfall and that took multiple titles while it took Rocksteady 1 game. And sidenote: if Rocksteady had to make a Suicide Squad game, with what we got they made a new Saints Row 2022, when they should've done Saints Row 2 or even Saints Row The 3rd, in regards to tone and general style.

The oddest thing about the story is that there was already an evil version of the Justice League bent on world domination that Kevin Conroy voiced a character for in the DCAU, the Justice Lords. Killing the Justice Lords would have still been absurd but it would not have rubbed as many people in the wrong way as killing the Arkhamverse JL did.

Steam is absolutely deleting negative reviews. I've revisited the review page like 4 or 5 times already since official launch only to keep noticing how the number of reviews keep pivoting upwards and downwards, and a lot of positive reviews are left. Hence, the ominous "VERY POSITIVE" result. I'm not sure if the claim that it originally had 7K reviews is true tho.

If I think about it... I have been getting more indies than AAA games lately. I only bought a couple of AAA, Final Fantasy VII Remake on Steam, Hogwarts Legacy. Not a single Sony or Microsoft exclusives. I guess you could count Uncharted 4, but that is because it came bundle with the PS4 Slim. But I got bored with it. This year, I'm planning on getting SSD card for my Asus ROG Ally so I can get more games for it.

Rocksteadys explanation was that deadshot in the Arkham games was not the real deadshot and in fact a fraud. ok, after hearing a bit of the story, there *is* actually a way that they could kill superman with bullets. Gold Kryptonite has the ability to permanently remove the powers of a kryptonian if they're exposed long enough from a close enough distance, so *theoretically* with the idiots running around covered in the stuff, the radiation from it *could* have made superman less bulletproof, though it's still a really stupid plan and normal kryptonite in the shape of a bullet would still be better, or even just make the gold kryptonite into a bullet instead of this shit.
