@@ChiefHerzensCoach If the dogs regress....that's on the pack leader owners. No dog is being suffocated. That's what happens in a lot of police dog training. I've seen it....and stopped it. You are not seeing the big picture at all. If any of those problem dogs were in a pack.....they would be severely punished by the rest of the pack. That's how dogs work and communicate. Stop putting human interpretation on the canine process. Study oack behavior for a couple of decades and learn from the canines.

@@therightquestion2983 Wow....I tip my hat to you in all due respect. I delivered mail for 17 years until my body wouldn't hold up anymore. In those years I encountered too many out of control dogs, aggressive, biting me, biting my tires, etc. Customers' dogs would bite me in front of them & they'd think nothing of it. So "yes", I don't get those people either. (Bad habit of being a lazy human maybe?) The pressure point he touches on the hind leg (flank) is like that on a horse (& probably many other animals). Check out the older cowboy movies/shows that have a bucking horse in them...they usually have a strap they use on them tightened across their sensitive flanks behind the saddle. I was always told to stay away from that specific place on horses for their & my safety. Very careful when washing there. Thanks to finding DD, I am using what I can correctly interpret & learn from him on my shepherd & pomeranian. We all 3 have a long way to go, but we will get there with better behavioral relationships with DD leading the way. I'm out in the country, but they still need to have good behaviors about many things. Again "Wow", I am so impressed with what you've done for so long. You too are a blessing for so many dogs & owners. 🙏🐾🐾🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩

@@TeslaNick2 It's not the pain. I worked with wolves, coyotes, dogs for decades. It's how they are put in the hierarchy by the dominant pack members. And once they submit, they are left alone. It's canine communication. The pain is incidental to the scared, confused, dominant dog.....once freed from that, they can relax and learn. Also....canines have less pain receptors than say humans for example. Those dogs have much much better lives after that short instruction. Most would have no life outside of their yards or they would be put down or they would seriously hurt someone or other animals. Small price to pay.

No, I was never spanked as a child. I could tell you weren't either. I can also tell the difference between discipline and abuse. Sometimes lack of discipline is abusive. Do you have children? May I ask what generation you are in? Even though I wasn't, as you say, "abused" by my parents, I have been in and out of therapy my entire adult life, I can't help but think, if only my parents had spanked me once in awhile I might have some structure and discipline in my life now. Should I still sue my parents? And speaking of parents, most people love their dogs like they love their children, sometimes even more. Do you think they would pay money to have this guy abuse their children in front of them? Can you show us how you train these animals, please?

This man is truly gifted, but it’s more than that. Much more. He understands a dog’s mind and gets on its wavelength so the dog begins to trust him. It’s a remarkable achievement and then add to this, he gets on the owner’s wavelength so he can transfer some of his knowledge to empower the owner. I don’t sense ANY ego in this man. @@TeslaNick2 a monumental misunderstanding on your part. I see no cruelty here. With the minimum intervention required, he gets dogs to lose the fear that is the root cause of their dangerous reactivity. Once they do, he reassures them it’s all OK. Dogs are not stupid, they quickly figure out how to become calmer. These out of control dogs will likely injure someone and may have to be put down if their dangerous learned behaviour isn’t corrected.

Took my dog to a positive reinforcement only facility and the trainers had the hardest time with her. She wasn't at all aggressive but just didn't take the treats. They said they were going to try a hail mary and brought out hot dogs (which I laughed when you kept calling them hot dog trainers because it's true). And as predicted, she didn't even take the hot dogs. She was too occupied with the other dog in the class and just would not listen. It was 2 months of this and no progress. Watched Beckman's (whom you met through his podcast) videos and decided to try his method and it worked! She is 80% more behaved around other dogs than before. Keep doing what you guys are doing out there in the dog training world. You guys are actually helping these dogs and owners. These owners no longer have to consider euthanizing and these dogs get a 2nd chance at life.

@@TeslaNick2 honestly... They're not getting hurt... BUT... Respectfully, Even if they were a little.... Yeah I'd be okay with it, especially if it saves their LIFE and the LIFE of EVERY animal and HUMAN they encounter! As a kid, I HAD to be violent with a dog to save someone from being bit.. Again, as it was acting viscous and already got a bite in.. by a pitbull... I forgot my treats that day.. Sarcasm... Had I known about the proper placement of the leash and the prong collar existing, it NEVER would've happened as I could've taught my friend this. I think the owner eventually had to surrender the dog to the shelter, which also couldn't handle it, so they killed it. A training like this would've saved everyone involved. This goes for another guy in my state who's dog killed a child. ~My other comment added on: Dogs are wild animals that have been domesticated. Domesticated is where YOU are BENEFITING from the animals ALREADY & CONTINUALLY being broken of their wild tendencies... for generations. This can be undone in ANY animal from them not being handled properly. Any animal must be broken of their wild nature to fit into a respectable society. Horses, cows, rabbits, etc. Each one will have a different difficulty, and needs, based on their existence and experiences. Some farmers use castration asap on their bulls to prevent them from overpowering and becoming a dangerous threat for anyone around. Indians would break horses by taking them to water, deep enough to manage this breaking in. It's highly effective. Highly effective breaking in only needs done once. Then the animal can trust, if your able to manage their worst, your strong enough to watch over them. This builds trust when done in earnest. Going outside the bounds by acting out in anger against them, THAT'S abuse. If you feel better by hurting an animal in any way is the sign it's abuse. The release you feel is that signal. It also won't "train" a dog the way you think, because abuse is obvious to them. They will cower in fear as the abuser comes near. That is NOT the case here. I believe you're being gaslit and emotionally abused by disingenuous grifters. This is wretched and wrong. No one should treat you that way. Seems being a dangerous dog and barking loudly about.. and at.. Dog Daddy and others.. 🤑🤑🤑🤑 ... Is highly lucrative for "influencers" & the orgs looking for an emotionally triggering cause they can abuse their packs with, as they feast on the carcasses of euthanized dogs no one will touch, and enrich themselves off all the drama proceeds 🤑🤑🤑... ... While everyone's rights, liberty and freedom get trampled & families are left with few options for their beloved pet who is a family member. Who benefits from it becoming more socially acceptable for dangerous dogs being euthanized? More money for the top dogs.. 🤑💰💸🌭🥼 Check the view count on their accounts, mentioning Dog Daddy is hundreds of times more lucrative than even their own videos showing what THEY bring to the table. They're ALL crooks! *Allegedly and imo As for acting like they're better or "right" cuz muh science... 😂 the "scientific community" 😂 yeah they learn by observing those ACTUALLY in the field... Anyway, most are just paid to find fancy ways to say whatever their benefactors want. Check the research funding. These orgs are nothing and get zero funding WITHOUT some EMOTIONALLY charged CAUSE! They literally train activists how to use emotional manipulation to incite the normies. I know. I was an activist and state delegate for a well known cancer org. I stopped after realizing they did little to nothing for actual patients, while leaders live high off the hog, all while gaslighting and using psychological manipulation. They train you to engage government, politicians, social media, etc... and how to... in one min use highly effective and emotionally triggering examples to incite politicians to do your will basically. Just wretched. Full of corruption. Never support or lend legitimacy to ANY org you have not fully researched. Where does their money come from, where does it go, who benefits, what's their mission statement, what are the fruits of their work, can they handle criticism, are they sincere or just doing their hired task, etc. Most of these large "do gooder" cause based activist groups or non profits, are just acting out from their own psychological issues and cause more harm than good. Test them. Contact them with questions about them helping fund your care of several abandoned animals.. Or something similar, but a real world need to help a regular person financially struggling with a dangerous animal or several. Will they pay for all to get vet visits, spay /neutered and shots with a few months pet food for you helping care for them? Will they train viscous pitbulls? Etc. But they'll happily take your money on behalf of these animals, claiming they care about their lives. 💥⚖️ Freedom, rights, liberty... These get abused with every well intentioned law that's passed. 🗽💥 You think your saving one, but your hurting another. Most times it's best to let things be & live and lead by example. Nothings ever perfect, that is life. God bless 💯💥😃👍🐾🐶🐺🐕‍🦺🐕🦮🐩💜💙🌈🏞️🌄 Also, weaponizing Google reviews devalues actual reviews and any true help they can give you. You might expect paid reviews and activist reviews nowadays... But then... What's real anymore? They're making reviews pointless and more like a place full of emotional children or the unhinged. Have a beautiful day full of love ❣️🤗🐕‍🦺🐩🐕🐺🦮🐶🐾💯😃👍💯

You do amazing work! Thank you so much for sharing your gift, talent and abilities and helping so many dogs. The fact you work with shelter dogs makes you even more amazing. This is about helping those dogs others give up on. You are an incredible human being. Keep up the great work and ignore the haters who are just jealous and envy your gift, talent and abilities.

You cant explain a GIFT.... This is why other trainers dont like it. Scientific studies are confused If there is another way that is proven to work, please show him! No one has of yet and he has asked many times. They just point fingers and criticize. He is getting these dogs to a place where other trainers can then work with them which is a win win situation. We need to work together. Awesome job! ❤

I love the way DD engages with these dogs without hurting them and gaining their trust in the end. In animal kingdom, blood bath are almost innevitable to become the alpha male to lead the pack, yet I don’t quite understand why some people says his training method is inhumane? Keep doing what you’re doing DD, God bless you always ❤❤

The dogs he accepts are the toughest cases; aggressive and highly fearful. His method, pronged collars to start off with for larger breeds are acceptable because a dog is built to pull and their necks are thickly muscled. They can handle the stress for a short while and he does so much in that short time to help teach the dog that it's amazing.
